   This is a LIE. Clarence Augustine wasn’t arrested for running an ESCORT service on Myspace, HE WAS ARRESTED FOR “FAILURE TO REPORT” his current address as a SEX OFFENDER. Get your facts right and READ THE STORY.

   OK, so he was arrested for failing to report and just happened to be a sex offender running an escort service – which I doubt is allowed. I don’t see how that somehow makes it all better Vic.

   So it’s OK to just make up lies? Propaganda? WHERE in the story (or anywhere) does it say that he was arrested for running an ESCORT SERVICE? You can say what you want about the man, but is it fair to LIE on him?

   “A convicted sex offender who ran a Dallas-based &ldquomodeling and exotic dancer&rdquo web site was arrested last Thursday.”

   “Since Nov. 27, 2006, Clarence Augustine, 34, of Dallas, has been wanted by authorities for failing to register as a sex offender.”

   Both of those sentences are quite amibiguous. There isn’t any line in the article that says “he was arrested for ____”.

   Trench’s interpretation of the intent of the article is perfectly valid. If it’s incorrect, blame the poor wording of the original article. Jumping to “omg, Trench is lying!” is simply asinine.

   Yeah, leave Trench alone! He’s just trying to make a name for himself on the back of one of those despicable sex offenders!
   We all know that those people DESERVE any and all abuse we can lay on ’em! And ol’ Trench is doing what any half-rate journalist wanna-be does to get his name out in print he’s attacking the lowly sex offender. So give the guy(?) a break, will ya?

   Hey Vic, good lookin’ out for us sex offenders! Yeah, that’s right. That’s what I said. But you pea-brained readers our there who think all sex offenders are kiddy-diddlers will sing a different tune when it’s your ox that gets gored. When you’re “busted” for pissin’ behind a dumpster or in some bushes, or commit the grievous crime of sunbathing nude on your own property behind your privacy fence and some of the neighbor kids happen to see you, or God forbid your prepubescent son gets caught “playing doctor” with another child his age and they both get charged as child molesters and have to register for life, then you’ll sing a different tune!

   Of course by then it’ll be too late and you’ll be another hated pervert.

   Most of us, after serving our time and paying our debt, just want to get on with our lives, but you people who want the punishments to go on and on and never to end, you’ll make a few of us decide that enough is enough.

   I survived some years in population at a state penitentiary, not by being a punk but by being a man. And I’m damned near at the end of my rope out here in the freeworld!

   If you take away everything I have to live for, I’ll have nothing left to live for, and no more reason to be a nice, compliant, contrite ex-offender.
