This is an article from the Barre Montpelier Times Argus that details the timeline of Michael Jacques planned kidnapping of Brooke Bennett. It also shows what kind of scumbag Jacques really is.

First Jacques was using two different online personas to communicate with an underage girl that he was abusing. The first one was simply ‘E’ and the second one was Rauel Domingo. Domingo is not a third suspect as some blogs would have you believe. One of the things he told the girl was he was hunting wild zebra in Africa. To me, that sounds like some kind of code.

Jacques and the juvenile plotted on how to lure Bennett away.

Jacques ordered $1,033.45 in sex toys.

Another underage female says that she will participate in the ‘tie down’.

Jacques emailed one of the girls asking her to collect her boyfriend’s semen in order to throw police off the trail once Brooke disappears.

According to the report, Jacques altered Brooke’s MySpace before she was abducted.

Ray Gagnon then logged into Brooke’s MySpace and changed the password.

When Jacques reported that he found some of Brooke’s clothes police also found blood and semen which they now believe Jacques planted.

Those are just some of the lowlights that Jacques and Gagnon are accused of committing.

How elaborate this whole scheme was just sickens me and anything less than the death penalty for Jacques would be an injustice.

I have a hard time backing the death penalty. Nothing would please me more than to see this ####er fry. However, ignoring my Id mindset I look at the money and time all of those appeals and the constant upkeep the housing for this ####s costs and it would be easier just to leave them to rot with the rest of the filth of the world.

Let him live. Let him wake up every morning looking throw steel bars at the hell the awaits him outside for himself. Let him know that he created this for himself. That he and only he is responsible. Let him wish and wish that we HAD killed him. Let him lives his days in fear and sadness. Sickened with unforgiving consistency that prison offers. Then, IF we’re lucky,

he’ll end himself.

What is disturbing in the article (beyond the obvious), written by a reporter who extracted this information from police reports, etc., mentions pictures of the 14 year old and her boyfriend in a safe that Gagnon owns. The article also states the police rule out the possibility that other children were victimized by these two. I think that is something we should take for granted. I doubt very much if these 2 girls, and the boyfriend were the only victims. Why would we believe sexual predators? We are stupid if we do.

The 14 year old is definitely an accomplice, but she was abused by these low life’s since she was 9 years old – with the original threat being her own murder if she did not comply and willingly become a member of the ‘Club’.

I wonder if we will ever know the whole truth?

In any case, the 14 year old, and her boyfriend (I wonder what his age is??) should be looked at very closely, and should be in some type of treatment for the crime they assisted with, and treatment for their victimization.

If we let this go, without checking out all contacts with these men, then we are letting them get away with other crimes as well.

The death penalty would be too good for thses jackasses. Let the other inmates take care of them, to ensure a sloooowww painful death. Scumbags like these makes me wish we had vigilantes like in the 1980’s movie “The Star Chamber”, and someone like Frank Castle, Marvel Comics Punisher. Gimme a good sniper rifle, two hollowpoints, and I’d pierce each moron in one lung apiece, so they would slowly drown in their own blodd filling their lungs.

Does anyone have a copy of or a link to the affidavit against Mr. Jacques? The one against Gagnon is creepy enough to read… but I’d like to see the “unsealed stream of emails” and such… From what I’ve read, the pattern of manipulation by Jacques is incredible… and by that, I mean “incredibly frightening.”

As for “Juvenile 1” and “juvenile 2,” they are accessories before, during and after the fact… and should be treated as such… They need treatment, very true… but they (at least juvenile 1) are willing accomplices to what happened and should have to face the music.

The juveniles that assisted are victims as well but that does not erase the fact they assisted in a murder. They need to be charged and forced into a treatment program,otherwise we may hear about those two in another case in a few years. The risk is just too high. The perps deserve to die. If put in prison they would be in a protected unit,sucking up the taxpayer dollars and enjoying their lives. I also feel the other adults in the family should be investigated to see how much they knew about the child porn and such. It’s hard to believe the mother was married to the stepfather for so long and the aunt was married to the uncle and neither knew the men were pedophiles.

I know we all want to believe that Gagnon and Jacques will “suffer” in prison and get their “just due”…but sadly they will fit in with so many of the violent crimes sex offender population.
Though some of us would like to see them suffer in prison, they won’t, they will get their drugs, home-made alcohol, and fill of anal sex until they get paroled or die.
Our broken judicial system fills our prisons with drug addicts and the more lethal offenders are released early bc of overcrowding.

IMO there should be some offenses that are worth death, as long as the evidence clearly confirms that, and the sentence dealt shortly thereafter.

In the U.S. children are starting to become devalued more and more, just like so many other countries that turn a blind eye to child exploitation. I think our children are becoming more sexualized and is done via our pop-culture.
I think there is a connection somewhere to Jacques selling the porn he was taping, though I haven’t read it anywhere I am beginning to wonder if he was not only a producer but also a seller?

Please stop defending the parents. Jacques wife says “when she found the KY Jelly in their bedroom and a porn DVD, she just knew the KY wasn’t hers bc her and Jacques weren’t using KY at that point in their sex life”…

Does anyone know if Victim#1 was Jacques step-daughter or biological daughter?

Juvenile 1 (the 14 year old) is Jacques step-daughter. His wife, Denise, was married previously and had her by her then-husband’s brother.

the 14 yr old in the affidavit is jaques step daughter for sure. personally i think brookes mother and aunt should be stoned in the streets. they both married snappers and put their daughters at risk. what a couple of worthless c***s.

I spoke with a woman that lives in Randolph. Jacques repeatedly raped his own sister and eventually got her pregnant at (11?). She had an abortion. Many locals know about this.

angela – when Jacques went before whatever board or group makes the legal decisions in VT, to keep someone under observation – probation, parole, whatever, his lawyer brother wrote a letter stating what a good person he was, and that he supported his release.

Of course…I am not sure if he did this from afar, or whether he was living there at the time…but he sure if far away now, isn’t he?

Could be Kim. Or, maybe his brother became a lawyer to one day do something about these types of crimes? Jacques was a victim, can the assumption be made that the brother was too?

Now that Brooke has been murdered, maybe that will be the catalyst for his brother to start working for the ‘other’ side.

Or, maybe his brother is also an abuser?
