Polk County teen beating suspect arrested on driving charge:
Alleged lookout of the Victoria Lindsay beating, Stephen Schumaker, has been arrested again. This time it was for driving on a suspended license. He was pulled over after caught running a stop sign, speeding, and not wearing a seat belt.
You would think that if someone was awaiting trial that they wouldn’t do something stupid as this yet here we are.
Shows a complete disrespect for authority. He was just recently taken off of house arrest so he could go to work, and look… he didn’t even take THAT seriously.
They recently let 3 (including this one) off of house arrest. I believe that was a HUGE mistake. These kids.. all of them… should have AT THE LEAST been held to the house arrest till the trial because they have not YET proven that they take this charge seriously. They think this is a joke. I hope they ALL do HARD time for this… so the will wake up!

They should have never removed that house arrest but than i was still hoping none would get bail too. LOL

They should do time in 8 different jails, and all the inmates should hear their story. Words like ‘defenseless little girl’ and ‘beaten near death’ should be used, so that the inmates can do with these people what they please.

Jennifer, I’m assuming you are responding to the posts on this blog. If not, please tell us what you are responding to. If you look at the post above yours, it s dated May 2008. It is now May 2009. The charges were still pending in May of last year, and were not dropped until June, so the original charges were still in effect at the time, so people who posted at that time were responding to those original charges, okay? Why are some people still so eager to display their pugnacity at this late date? Why still fighting that same old battle?
If you live in the Lakeland area, maybe you could explain to us why there seem to be so many angry people there. Is it because of all the noise from all those big semis roaring through the neighborhood? 🙂
Listen woman. Stephen is a part of my family and things like this you do not just let go. Apparently you still care about the whole situation , or maybe its just because you have NO LIFE. BECAUSE WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU BE CHECKIN THIS SHIT EVERY DAY. maybe to get a story, i dont know. and even if the people were responding to the “original charges” they jumped to conclusions and didnt even give a two shits about what really happened. And i wrote this on here yesterday to “vent”, isnt that what blogs are about, people letting our there anger, venting, well i can do it too.

Yeah, anger probs seem to run in the Schumacher family…anyone remember his dad ranting on TV about how the Victoria Lindsay incident was a “one-on-one fight” and the controversy was just “our sheriff showboating”? Maybe they have a family discount…LOL
Yes, it looks like some people still have a lot of anger to deal with. Venting is at best a temporary expedient. For those who really want to find peace, there are churches and schools that teach yoga and tai chi that offer more lasting results.
Jennifer, just for the record, I am not a woman, I am a man, and, if you are anywhere near the age of Stephen Schumaker, I’m old enough to be your grandfather. (I only mention that because it’s so easy to jump to conclusions based on limited information.)
As for the people who posted last April and May, most of them have long forgotten this case and moved on, and will never read what you wrote. I know from personal experience that if you hold on to negative feelings too long, you only harm yourself. Prayer and meditation do help.
See, my reason for blogging is not to vent, or for any nefarious purpose. Sometimes I try to offer advice, but it’s up to you if you choose to accept it. Peace.

I know for a fact steve-o went to the store to get cigarettes and when he was going home he stopped by the house and the neighbors assumed that he was there and knew what was happening. Don’t assume things just because the news exagerated it. You know what’s funny? Victoria worked at winghouse at the time and went to work the day after the beating. Apparently she made it seem way worse thab it was. And fyi people, don’t talk shit about people and be surprised wheb they do something about it. The girls on the other hand deserve everything they’re getting or will get. They have no proof that the boys were involved. Zach probably was looking out. But I don’t know so I’m not going to get into that. But as for steve-o, that is one boy you can count on for anything and he hates anyone guy who would hit a girl in any way. He already wants to kill this guy for hitting this girl we know. Don’t talk shit on people who you have never talked to a day in your life. Get your facts straight. Thanks.

This entire site is pretty much dead, it lists the last 5 posts on a sidebar that’s why people go here no one posts anywhere else on the site. But at least it followed up on the story, there’s like a hundred blogs about this beating but they all never ever tell you what happened in the end. All’s well that ends well right?

Oh, and maybe if little Stevie hadn’t shown a blatant disregard for the law while awaiting trial, he could’ve stayed out of the news…in case you didn’t notice, this was a report on his arrest for traffic violations while driving w/a suspended license.
Don’t blame Trench or anyone else b/c Stevie didn’t take the conditions of his release seriously…maybe someone should’ve taught him a thing or 2 about respecting the law.
And it’s worth noting that following Stevie’s arrest on the driving charges, his daddy once again tried to cover for him, claiming Stevie was home @ the time and they had the wrong person (there’s someone in the Polk County area who looks exactly like him? LOL)…apparently, taking responsibility for your actions is not a Schumaker family value.
Besides, Stevie’s not big on credibility, considering how he changed his story re: the Victoria Lindsay case…
