Charges: Man had sex with girl after meeting on MySpace:

That’s 34-year-old David Nack of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. He’s been charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in 2005. Wisconsin’s age of consent is 18.

According to the Wisconsin Dells Police Department, the girl said she met Nack after he replied to her profile on MySpace (an online social networking Web site) and that she drove to meet him Nov. 2, 2005, to have sex. They met at a Walgreens store before going to his downtown Wisconsin Dells apartment, according to a criminal complaint.

The two smoked marijuana and Nack showed a pornographic movie on a television, the complaint states. Nack took pictures of the girl before they had sex, according to the complaint, and stopped when she began to cry and told him to stop.

Nack told police the girl changed into a short skirt and let him take pictures of her.

I don’t know about you, but where I come from if a woman says stop, and you keep going that’s called rape.

Nack is being charged with child exploitation, sexual intercourse with a child, child enticement, and delivering marijuana to a minor.

It’s a little ironic that Nack has on his MySpace “Remember: karma is a bitch and it will come back to later in the game.”

Nack is looking at 42 years of karma.

Well, yeah, it’s called rape when somebody doesn’t stop when you say stop, but it seems to say clearly in the article that he DID stop when she said stop. What we’re left with is a girl who was very slightly underage having consensual sex with a guy, until she didn’t want it anymore and they stopped. The law broken was just a stupid technicality. It’s not like some switch would click in her brain as soon as she turns 18, suddenly making her more capable of making decisions than she was moments ago.

First off I would like to start off by saying that I was Dave’s girlfriend at the time of this so called “rape.” I think that you should do alittle more investigating and get your facts straight before you go posting “half truths.” This “minor” had a Myspace page saying that she was 18 years of age. She had been talking to him for months about getting a tattoo. The only thing she said was stopping her was that she was waiting for her friend to turn 18. This girl had sent photos of herself nude also holding signs saying that she wanted to fuck Dave. I found these pictures on the computer and asked Dave who it was. He said its “minor’s name.” I called her and said “tell me EVERYTHING that happened with you and my boyfriend,” and she did. She then began to cry after she told me all of this and I asked “whats wrong.” She said “don’t tell Dave, but I’m only 17.”

So, now that you have your facts right maybe it will open your eyes to stop writing things that you think are true when you really have NO IDEA!

Another aspect of internet hookups is the fantasy it promotes. You’re not talking to a person, merely words on a page, and in many ways, yourself. Then when people meet, it suddenly becomes real and often nothing like the fantasy. Adults with plenty of life experience fall into this all the time. And think about how youths have always been able to beguile themselves with love letters, only to find the reality something else entirely. The two effects combined can lead to big mistakes.

I knew this girl well, and that is only his side of the story. Her side says he asked to engage in sodomy, she said it hurt, and he laughed at her before continuing. She could be lying, but that doesn’t matter. If you’re a previous offender maybe you should always ask for valid id? And if you have a beautiful girlfriend maybe you should respect that and not go after whatever play you can get on myspace.
NOTE: Dave Nack STILL has a myspace after all this occured.
