Everyone’s favorite globetrotting Myspace runaway teen Katherine Lester was on the Dr. Phill show once again. This time it was to break off the relationship she had with the Arab man known as Abdullah Psycho. To make matters more humiliating for Abdullah is that the break up was done via satellite.

“I’m not going to be with you any more,” the 18-year-old told her Palestinian boyfriend, Abdullah Jinzawi, who watched her on a monitor from Jericho, Jordan.
Jinzawi sat silent for a moment, pulled off his microphone and stepped away from the camera.

“Well, that’s mature,” McGraw said.

Earlier on the show, Lester told McGraw — after some prodding — that Jinzawi was emotionally and physically abusive.

So is getting dumped via satellite better or worse than being dumped by text message?

Anyway, it seems that Ms. Lester has finally realized what everybody was saying about her internet boyfriend. Hopefully, this saga has finally come to an end.

I dunno…. Hopefully this “new guy” Katherine is with can help turn her head. But all her family to do is contact immigration and let them know that Abdullah is threatening an American family (before, Abdullah told Katherine that if she didn’t talk to him, he would find another American girl, then come over here and “whip her ass”… Then on the show, Katherine said Adbulla threateded to “torture her family” if she didn’t talk to him).

It’s a world-wide show. Most people working in immigration have probably seen it. So this guy won’t be able to get a visa into this country no matter what he does, or who else he marries.

Now that they are all so famous, the government will always suspect Abdullah of trying to get in here JUST so he can come after Katherine and her family. There’s just no way he’s getting in here now.

And after all the “shame” Katherine put on Abdullah and his family buy bad-mouthing, humiliating and dumping him on international television (which I support, because I think he’s an abusive stalker), I think it would be mortally dangerous for her to ever set foot back in that country again… Especially after Abdulla’s family hears about all this, because then she won’t be welcome in their home anymore!

Middle-easterners are EXTREMELY sensitive about shame, insults and betrayal. Especially after they pay for your airline tickets, take you into their home, and treat you like family… In that case, they will disrespect you 10 times more! And will most likely NEVER forgive you, no matter what you do!

Katherine can’t go back there now. And after the threats being exposed on TV, immigration is so paranoyed these days, they will never approve that guy.

Too much attention has been brought to this, and Abdullah and his family are pissed enough to KILL.

Gosh, while watching Kat Lester on Tv, an amazing thing happened … I had the urge to put my arm throught the tube at the point of where Kat Lester’s head was displayed. And sure enough, my arm went right through the tv, thus placing me in intimate physical contact with the hole in her head. Wow, what a doughnut she is. 6 months after she’s supposedly broken it off with him and this story is still what everyone is buzzing about. There is an interview going to be aired with Abdullah on a Arab form of “The View” called ” Kalam Nawaim” on Monday and we all can’t wait to hear what he has to say even so long after. The fact of the matter is both of them were young, “in love” and dumb at the same time. I can’t help, but feel that the majority of this was orchestrated by Dr. Phil and his crew, he dramatised this story way too much and got 3 shows aired out of this. Very familiar to what he did to Britney Spears, meaning exploiting people when their down and using the unfortunate events to boost his ratings. Things like this happen all the time in America , the fact that this young man lives in Palestine is what gave them the element of drama they were searching for. Ok, so life in general there isn’t very stable and you do hear about killings and all but that doesn’t mean her life was in complete danger. The fact that she went back there when she turned 18 had to mean something. Katherine wanted to be with him, but when she came back she probably got alot for wanting to be with an Arab in the first place. The guy is wealthy and her family wanted to profit because he mentioned on the show where she breaks up with him that he used to send her family money about it and her mom and dr. phil became all hush hush about it.

I personally really felt that Abdullah was treated unfairly by Dr. Phil. The way
Dr. Phil handled this story was definitely not worthy of his so called 30 years experience. It was obvious that Katherine was not being forced to stay with Abdullah in Jericho. How many times did she get to the airport and then return to be with him? If she was as afraid of him as she claimed she was, why did she not jump of the first flight offered to her?

And her mother, the woman who was crying her crocodile tears on TV. Isn’t she the same woman who drove her daughter to the airport to visit Abdullah? If she was so afraid for her daughter’s life, why on earth did she allow her to visit him? And she kept on referring to him as a terrorist. Someone please enlighten the woman. Not all Arabs or people coming for that part of the world are terrorists. She was very insulting on TV and Dr. Phil, yes the same man with “30 years experience” allowed her to make such utterances on his show.

The mother kept on saying that the only reason Abdullah had not processed the necessary paperwork to obtain a US Visa was because he was a terrorist. Then she would say that he was using Katherine as a way to get into the US. Does not make sense. There may have been any number of reasons why Abdullah did not try to get a US Visa. Strong family ties maybe? And if he really wanted to get into the US, wouldn’t he have processed his papers at the first chance?

Dr. Phil even accused Abdullah of being smug and not having the decency of looking at Katherine’s family while on satellite. All I could see was a young man who was fed up of being treated like the bad guy.

And what caused Katherine to suddenly decide that she no longer wanted to be with Abdullah? And to dump him on national TV. How cruel was that? And when he walked away, Dr. Phil’s comment was, “That is mature”. What on earth did he expect?

Dr. Phil handled this situation very badly. Katherine is a dumb bimbo and Abdullah is well rid of her. What she did was very cruel.

I wish Dr. Phil would read this – Dr. Phil you suck. Katherine, you are a bitch. Your stupidity has caused alot of people alot of pain.

When i watched the show, i really got so affected in two ways, 1st, because abdullah said things that really demoralized the islam and arab culture and belief– it is never right or accepted to call the person you love names as well as hurt them both emotionally or physically. Until now, this issue is causing a huge ‘roar’ here in the mid east. Secondly, i am not an arab, but i am married to one, and people should think that not everybody is the same. We cannot focus on the wrong things that other might have said and done, it doesnt generalise. in my 3 years with my husband, he NEVER said any abusive words and NEVER hurt me physically. He always tells me the importance and status of women in their culture. Anywhere in the world, nobody can keep anybody against her/his wishes, unless there is a gun pointed in your head– and i believe there was nothing like that involved in katherine’s and abdulla’s case. Katherine FLEW to jericho twice. so she should be accountable as well. and yeah, Dr. Phil is great, but breaking up with somebody with all the world watching is not very mature as well. there is nothing mature about showing the humiliation and pain of one person to the entire world–regardless of what he did..(well unless he did heinous crimes of course)

Okay so I just finished watching “Kalam Nawaam” on MBC and Abdaullah said that they are got married and shes his wife, and that she called him in January to tell him she wants to come back to Palestine, but he told her to wait a lil, and he said he did slap her because after the show she was saying stuff. He also said that shes a muslim now, and that everything is good between him and Katherine, and that the relationship between her and her family is the one thats messed up and she lives with her sister now because her family treat her kind of bad. He also said that he is going to bring her back because she is his wife, and he also mentioned that in Dr Phil interview all they did was talk about him about the bad things that went wrong,but they didn’t put any of the nice moments that happened, and i thing thats all he said.

This whole story is just ridiculous. I did not see anybody support this young Palestinian guy, only try to make him look bad. He is a very young man (not an older man, as Dr.Phil said couple of times on the show) Abdullah don’t understand half, what was going on, what they was saying, because he’s English is not that good. I have read all of you comments. Some I sensed are very truthful in your objectivity of situation. But I won’t say any names. I will say, I like truth. Many of us play games all of lies and avoid the heart of matters in our lives. And we teach our children to play the same games we do. Not meaning to digress -back to Katherine and her one time b/f in the middle east-lets look at some analysis of the case. Ms. Lester came from a divorced family. And many of us knows how girls behave strangely from this. Yes, Katherine’s father whom she lived with after the incident and right so, remarried. And K.L’ step mother that treated her like a “stepped”child (not all do). IN other words, she wanted her out of the house. Ms. Lester, to me, showed such strong insecurity for love as a teenager, that there is no doubt to me that she needed a good psychiatrist. I do believe she is an intelligent woman but many of us are and our problems are emotional. Moreover, she, Katherine is white, and that generates the printing presses of many newspapers and periodicals when the behavior dynamics of a young white girls are culturally and dramatically “newsworthy.” This is us-dull living America. Look at all of the dissappearances and kidnappings of whitewomen on the TV news and on Nancy Grace vs. non white women and compare.The best thing, it seems to me, that happened to K. L, was that she saw herself on TV on Dr, Phi. Now Dr. Phil, (and some of you are correct), is a drama hunter (recall how he tried to book Brittany’s wackoed life story on his show), but K. L. saw her twisted emotional turmoiled and disturbed disposition. Perhaps in some strange way, her cried for help for a balanced life and intimacy (which include her own spirit). And to get this, the cure does not evolved around a young guy who is like most teen and youthful guys and girls: young, dumb and full of…

I have no words to describe how despicable Dr.Phil is. I never did like him, I always felt that he’s critical and mean. People go to psychologists because they have realized that they need help all he does however is make fun of them because of their problems and humiliate them. And as for this whole Abdullah incident, how many shows has he done in his little Dr.Phil house where the husbands are abusive and retarded? I don’t recall any of them being Arabs. If he can be so narrowminded and so dumb as to lump up all Arabs as abusive then he has no business being a psychologist. As for Katherine well I can sympathize with her situation, I can understand what she may be going through with her family but it does not justify her doing this to him on national tv. She should have kept her mouth shut and simply ignored Dr.Phil. Trust me had Abdullah been abusive or controlling, she would never have been able to leave the country no matter how many escorts Dr.Phil sent. He saw this as an opportunity to put in his two cents on the whole MiddleEast issue at the moment, and what better way to glorify his skills than rescue the shining princess from the big bad monster? The problem with our society is that we are so ignorant and so clueless that we swallow whatever drivel is poured down our throats, no questions asked.

I think this story is just ridiculous. Americans wonder why 9/11 really happened. And then its because of people like Dr. Phil assuming that all Middle Eastern men dont know how to treat women. I am watching his show just now and scenes where she is with Abdullah, well one can clearly see that they look like they are in love. The only reason he is being picked on is because he is muslim. I think lately Dr. Phil is just taking issue of this and spreading it like wild fire just because he is a Muslim man. I think he is blowing this all out of proportion and honestly, she is 18 years old. She can do what she wants and make up her own mind. If he was that bad of a guy and very controlling, why would he let her call her family everyday the way her mother was. She is 18 years old and has every right to make her own decision as to who she wants to be with and the family and Dr. Phil needs to stop overdramatizing this situation. Just because the guy is middle eastern does not mean he is dangerous and I feel the family had lots of lies in regards to the way he treats her. I do think the story was valid by Dr. Phil and the family. American women (and African Americans )have fought for rights that are not recognized by other countries. Any country or man for that matter that thinks it is perfectly ok to demean, demoralize or berate a person because of sex or race is wrong. We all were created equal. That is what the worry was with that family and Dr. Phil that if she married that man she would not be treated as an equal by him (because he is a man). I am not saying all the people from that area are like that — I am saying that is the fear that family had and Dr. Phil, that she would have been beaten, treated like a piece of crap by him. I have read the information on Betty Mahmoody (not sure of spelling) but her story is true, her husband took her there, where she had no rights and forced her to stay. She had to find a way out of a world she had no say in. That is what the mom and Dr. Phil and that entire family was worried about — she would be giving up her rights as a human basically to be this mans wife, and if he said, “No you can’t go see your family, well then guess what? She wasn’t going to see her family.” How would you like to live in that world? Not for me.

If that kid really LOVED her then he would respect her, and respect that living there is not good for her, it would tear apart her personality, her self worth — if he really LOVED her, then he would pack up and move to America – where she is free. (maybe he can’t handle not having control, and being a fair, real relationship).

What parent(s) would first, allow thier daughter to have so much freedom that she could communicate with a total stranger for two whole years over the internet, second, would have given thier permision, and signed for a passport to let thier daughter travel out of the country without a chaperone,(thinking she was going to Canada to visit a friend) third, go back to the same things time and time again over the NEXT two years, knowing full well that she would be turning 18 soon, and then escort her to the airport, put her on a plane and send her right back to where she was originally going??? I don’t care if it was Palestine, Florida, or Timbuctoo!!!! What kind of parent allows this to go on??? Sounds to me like the COMMUNICATION and attention went out the window when Mom and Dad split up and the poor girl turned to someone, whom she never met before, for compasion!!! She sure wasn’t getting it from either parent because they were too busy going on with thier own lives to let the confusion of a 16 year old get in the way. Luckily, the Sister had enough brains to not to let it mess with her mind. Sixteen year old girls are very impressionable and a lot of compasion from someone is really tempting to them, even if it is someone who lives around the corner. Anyone can take advantage of the situation, and that’s where a lot of sexual predators step in for the kill. They all should be thankful that Abdullah was not a predator and that he didn’t kill her and dump her body in a ditch or bury her under his porch!!!!!!!! Get a grip, people!!!!!!! We all live in the same world and want the same thing&gt&gt A HAPPY LIFE !!!

To BB: Not for a single second do I agree with what abdullah did (ie. slapping her) violence is never the excuse for anything. Had this been my own father I would have been disgusted by what he did, but the issue here is how the whole incident is being portrayed &amp handled, I think this is what everyone is angry about.

I’m sure you have made a very valid point, and you are quite right people should learn the language properly, but answer me this: when the Americans were busy invading Africa, Asia, Middle-East, and Latin America committing heinous crimes and trying to take what they could from these nations did the sweet, darling soldiers learn the languages? All of the “Racial” slurrs that are being thrown around on this blog are not helping anyone!!!! I am HUMAN, you are HUMAN, and so is everyone on the face of the earth. It is our duty to raise our children to accept everyon for who they are and not judge them by where they live or what they believe in. Children need guidance from thier parents and when that is ignored, we end up with what we now call, WAR!!! The whole point of this story is, and will always be, “How can a parent justify allowing thier child to run wild and then go on National T.V. and complain that the situation is any one’s fault except their own”? Mom provided her daughter with the opportunity, to go over there, took her to the airport, and Then cried “WOLF” when the daughter didn’t want to come right back home.
She is home ,now, safe, and that in itself is a miracle. This Mom should thank her lucky stars for that because it could have just as easily gone the other way. Dr Phil’s show only inspired the real “racists” to spill out the hatred that thier parents instilled in them when they were children.
And that is a shame. My parents taught me that every one is equal, no matter what country they live in, what church they go to and which shoe they put on first.
And maybe Katherine went on the show to break up with Abdullah because her Aunt Tamara made her realize that calling her names and hitting her was NOT how one person treats the other if they love them. If this is the “NORMAL” way that people in his family treat thier wives, then HIS parents need a wake up call, too!!!
Who knows, maybe when they really grow up, they might still be in love and get married, but for the time being, let’s let them get on with thier lives.

Taxes come from hard working American citizens, some are LEGAL immigrants, sure, but the majority is American Citizens. We have immigrants that come into the country, illegally, and drain the resources we have to get health care, living expenses, and an education, and our retired citizens who paid taxes all of their lives are going without a lot of things in order for this to happen. My Mother is 78 years old, lives on 600.00 a month Social security and still has to pay for Medicare and supplemental insurance in order to get health care!!!! and she paid taxes all of her life, too, including the Social Security tax that she only gets a part of, now!!!
And to top it all off, Nancy Pelosi, in her own rightious way, wants to tax the retirements of the wealthy in order to take care of the millions of illegals immigrants who’s children need education and health care!!!!! This is one screwed up country and unless we turn things around and fast, we might as well remove all of the borders and let anyone in who wants to come. Whether it be farmworkers, terrorists, or the like!!!! I think you need to do a little research and find out what’s really going on!!!!! it might just surprise you!

I definitely believe that you made an excellent point when you state: “where do they get the right for this??????” but I would like to ask you the following…… where does the US get the right to 1) invade the Middle-East (and please don’t even bother spouting off the whole bringing democracy and protecting human rights song, everyone with an ounce of intelligence knows full well that the US couldn’t care less about any of that…..not to long ago the US was on the best of terms with Islamist fundamentalist groups who were doing horrible things, nor can we easily forget how chummy chummy they were with Saddam or with Osama) 2) who gave the US the right to establish camps all over the world (ie. Guantanamo Bay) where despicable things that we can’t even, imagine are being carried out as we speak (shocking parallels to concentration camps from WWII) 3) Vietnam 4) Latin America (funding corrupt military gvts and enabling them to take power and destroy their nation for their own benefit 5) Darfur and oil (buying oil from a gvt which is in turn using that money $1 million a day to carry out genocide against their population) 6) Rwanda (instructing the UN to step back and do nothing while thousands were buthchered and slaughtered 7) giving away a Palestine to form the state of Israel…who gave them the right or the power to just give away someone’s country? why don’t they just give away a state to the American-indians whose land they originally stole? or how about giving up a state to form an entirely black state, since the country originally made its millions through the hard back breaking work of millions and millions of slaves. Who were they to go into a country and take people like they were cattel and put them to work? I think you need to ask all of those questions to the all of the families of the people that were killed in the 9/11 attacks. How soon people forget that everything was fine until we were slaughtered while going on with every day life and sucker punched without any warning!!! Innocent deaths is never something to be ignored or to be taken lightly what I am arguing has nothing to do with 9/11 but since you bring it up……9/11 in many ways happened as a result of the role the US has been playing in the world since WWI. I’m a little confused as to how you missed the entire point of what I was arguing. Perhaps you should look up the history of Mexico to find out exactly why they are in the position they are, and who is to blame for it all…controlling the strings from behind the scene. As a mother of two daughters I can see why katherine’s mom would go all out and take it to the Dr. Phil show however I do disagree with the way Dr. Phil put katherine and this guy on the spot and make her break his heart on national tv. Imagine the humiliation and pain he put him through. No one wether there good or bad deserve such a crule break up. To me this just proves how rudley unprofessional and imature Dr. Phil is. Still I don’t think abdulla is a good guy. I think he’s a controling lier who has no good intentions with this girl. I can understand why people on this site who are muslim would feel he’s being discriminated against and he probably is but the reality is that in this case the family is right to worry and not want there daughter with this guy. I am a full blooded mexican who was born and raised here in america and I even look american but when people discriminate against my race it makes me angry so I can see where your coming from but I also understand that when someone of my race is doing wrong, they deserve to not be trusted. Just like here in america we have people who do wrong like rape, kill, steal, and lie, I’m pretty sure you have the same in your country. What I get ticked off about is how people on here are saying that American men are perfect and dont call their wives bitches or whores. That is not the case. Everyday in the news I see some man either beating his girlfriend up or knocking his girlfriend/wife with a hammer or some such instrument. If everything was so chirpy and merry in this country concerning relationships, then why is the divorce rate so damn high? Why cant a couple here make it through and work out their problems instead of rushing straight to the attorneys? First of, the way the mother made American men to be perfect on television is so wrong. I am sure she was lying as when she was making that comment she didnt even say it with confidence. Besides who the hell does Dr.Phil really think who he is? He isnt law enforcement that he can go into any country and take someone from there and bring them back home. He should stick to what he should be doing which is counseling people. This is why I will never believe anything he says anymore. He has commercialized the situation to more than what it should be and is probably making money off of it, just like what he did with Britney Spears.

Leticia, I don’t know if you watched the episode were Dr. Phil asked Abdulla if he owns a house in Cali and he starts studdering nervously and tries to explain why he doesin’t own the house anymore. If he has never even applied for a visa, how the hell is he gonna buy a house in the US? With just that being said is enough to prove he’s a lier. Just think if he lied about that, what else is this guy lying about? And I can understand were your coming from about guys calling girls bitches cuz my husband and I call eachother names like (e.g) yus my lil bitch and ill say yeah and yus my lil sh*t head but nothing serious just playing around. I totally agree with you. Men, of all countries can treat women badly, but that’s not the way it should be.
I think Dr. Phil needs to counsel Katherine’s Mom on the correct way to raise a child!! When she took her to the airport and put her on the plane, she was telling Katherine and the whole world that she approved of what she was doing. What a cop-out!!! If my daughter was going through this, she would have had to do it ALL on her own and pay the consequenses for her decisions. Sounds like Mom just threw her hands up and gave in to her. 18 or not, if she was living under my roof, she would not have me to take her to the airport. I’m sure that this was not an isolated incedent, and from the time Mom and Dad split, there were probably things like this going on and in order to not alienate the daughter, Mom gave in. I don’t know the whole background, but the way this all went down is just rediculous. Shame on Mom . The blame starts there and the fact that she and her other daughter got Dr. Phil involved just escaleted the issue. Dr. Phil paid the expenses for getting Katherine home, spent the money to get the whole world involved, and for what??? To bail Mom out of a lack of good judgement. Now THIS is reality T.V.!!!!!!!!!

Leticia, I also forgot to mention I am a mother of two girls and if some guy from a war zone country convinced my girl to leave the US to be with him and called her names and even slapped her, I would do anything in my power to bring my girl home. Okay so you are totally missing my point. I didint say that men here in the US don’t beat their wives because I see everyday all over the news. I don’t know if you have read every comment on this page but at the mid top of the page, about 4 or 5 of the bloggers are muslim and they say that in their country the men are sooo respectful and treat their women like queens and its so safe there and us americans are the bad ones which what I’m saying is a bunch of bull sh*it cuz it doein’t matter what country your in, there is always gonna be violence, rape, theives, and murderers. I am from the Netherlands and we only recently were shown the 3 dr Phils about this issue.

Yes I also believe that this story was blown out of proportion and especially Abdullah was being portrayed in a bad way. I do get the worry of Katherines family when she was there and it was good that all effort was made to get her back, she is still very young of course. But so is Abdullah, so a lot of the names calling and his temper can simply be a matter of immaturity. Which doesn’t mean it’s ok, but it certainly doesn’t mean he is an terrorist in the making or even an abusive hubby-to-be. Just in dire need of some more growing up to do, which he might or might not do to the correct way.
Having been told that the relationship is over, in this manner, seemed cruel to me. How he looked at her as soon as he saw her, did really make him seen like very much in love – in a boycrush kinda way.

Anyway, regarding Muslims and all a lot is said already, so I won’t bother with that, but I wanted to point something else out. I had the feeling a lot of especially the last episode was set up.
Katherine had meant to act as if all was ok and good with the relationship and told her family to do too, and when Phil called her on that, saying with his experience he knows he’s been lied to? She then admits he was abusive, and then they show a whole segment of an interview they pretaped with her telling her all this… now wait a minute, didn’t she wanna act as if all was ok? … doesn’t add up to me.

Yeah, dr Phil’s 30 years of experience… or just a handy producer and a skilled cameraperson??

As I said before, the blame lies with Mom for allowing her daughter to go the second time. And allowing her to have so much freedom that she could communicate with anyone and everyone over the internet, get a passport at 16 to travel out of the country to visit a friend, and not be aware of what was really happening.
At age 18 she is an adult and can do what she wants but should be held accountable for all the mistakes that she makes. A little more supervision in the early teen years could have made a world of difference in this girl.
And as far as abusive men go, yes, it happens all over the world, including the United States, but we have laws against it. In some countries, this is part of the culture and people just live with it!! with no consequences what so ever!!!! And it sounds like in Abdullah’s Family, this is the way he was raised. He did make a comment to Dr Phil that that was they way it is.
I am hoping that Katherine sorts this out for herself, without others dictating to her. She seems to be very smart, and maybe she will see the situation for what it is. At this point, it’s her choice.

I dont get it..why do you keep harboring on the fact that he is a muslim? If you say you arent a racist, then dont keep on bringing his religion into this issue. That is not the issue here and it never should be. The main issue is on how he treats here. Religion has nothing to do with it!!!! I think you need to lay off the religion factor and focus on him not treating the girl right. First off, I dont blame the daughter. I blame the mother. The mother never supervised her daughter while she was on the Internet. Second of all, she drove her daughter to the airport so she could take a flight to go see him, yet she blames the guys father?? She is just as guilty as Abdullahs father for providing the ticket! Even she should be in jail for committing this act and letting her go. She tries to act all innocent throughout the whole interview as if nothing is her fault when the mother created this problem to begin with. The fault lies with the mother. Second of all, the daughter is now 18. She is old enough to make her own decisions when it comes to who she wants to be with. It seems to me that the mother did not care what her daughter was doing in her teen years otherwise she wouldnt be in the situation she is in now. You dont need to have children to realize how to deal with them. It takes common sense to realize that when they are teens, you need to nurture the child and be over their shoulder more so that they grow into responsible citizens. She honestly in my opinion is just a bad mother. And I think she is worse than Abdullahs father, especially for driving her to the airport so she could meet this guy. She is probably the worst mother I have seen so far.

First off isint this website supposed to be about katherine? I’ve been following this story for about a week and a half and I must say that it may not be 100% the mothers fault. I grew up in National City, SD and the mexian border is about 15 miles away and almost every teen here in the south goes to mexico to party on the weekends. Its just the way you grow up when you live close to the border so you can’t blame the mother for letting her daughter go to canada I mean isint michigan the border to canada? How was the mother supposed to know she was lying? I must say that I have to agree wit ariesa a thirteen year old child should not be giving out personal info. What is it in a young teen’s psyche which sends them desperately searching for love on the internet, and often with dubious people? Perhaps what Dr. Phil needs to do with families of such children is to do a thorough study of the family logistics to uncover the source of the trouble between the teen and the family. If the piece of the missing puzzle were found, perhaps the teen would not feel a need to go searching the internet for intimate relationships with dubious people, and thus exposing themselves to potentially dangerous predators. Hell, there are adults who are like that. Why focus on boot camps for children with emotional or attitude issues all the time,as if somehow the kid’s behavior is only their fault? Kid’s are not born with attitude or emotional issues, they are made that way often by some dysfunctionality within the parents or family.
