Torture victim held captive for a month

Police Say Williams Abused for More Than a Month:

Police are now stating that Megan Williams was held captive for a month, not a week, by the Deliverance Reject Family from West Virginia.

Megan Williams went into the trailer home in Logan County where police say she was raped, beaten and tortured on Aug. 2, according to court testimony heard on Tuesday. Bobby Ray Brewster, 24, one of the six suspects in the case, got out of jail on Aug. 2 on charges he hit and threatened Williams, according to testimony from a Logan County sheriff’s deputy.

So the first thing Cletus does is when he gets out of lock-up is to kidnap somebody.

New charges have been filed as well…

Besides Brewster, the others charged include his mother, 49-year-old Frankie Lee Brewster. Also on Tuesday, the original charges against suspect Frankie Brewster were amended to include first degree sexual assault, giving false information during the commission of a felony, kidnapping and three counts of misdemeanor battery.

More details of the abuse…

During the hearing, prosecuting attorneys presented a fly swatter, a knife and a wooden stick. Lawyers told the court the suspects used the implements to beat Williams. Each impliment had red and brown stains, but they will all be tested to determined what the material is. Deputies also testified that Williams went willingly to the home, but the suspects would later refuse to let her leave.

And more of the family’s stellar record…

The suspects had lengthy criminal records In 1994, Frankie Brewster was indicted on first degree murder charges, but pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of an 84-year old woman. In March of this year, her son Bobby Brewster, was charged with brandishing a deadly weapon. Last year he was charged with battery on a police officer. Combs’ criminal history includes a malicious wounding charge in 2006. Messer has several domestic violence charges, including second offense domestic assault and burglary. Karen Burton and her daughter Alisha have also been arrested on numerous occasions. Karen Burton has been charged with assault on a police officer. Her daughter was charged with domestic assault in May.

It’s amazing that this family of scumbags were even out on the streets.

Having grown up in the rural mountains of SE Kentucky I can tell you…I HAVE KNOWN PEOPLE LIKE THIS!!! A mix of “Deliverance” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacer” movies. This is where not enough branches in the family tree leads to. I think I could tell stupid in-bred hick stories for hours with all the crap I have seen.

LOL…I couldn’t see it because my browser cuts off the last 4-5 letters on the right hand margin when I type so you get what you got! 😛

If this family had Enders as a relative they would look more like “The Hills have eyes” than “deliverance”.

I hadn’t heard the month-long angle. And MSNBC and the rest of the mainstream media is happy to keep reporting that there were 109 charges against the six and they never mentioned the criminal record of the defendant.

In this story they say that Megan Williams was wanted in three counties for passing bogus checks. That’s quite a crime spree. If you are wanted by the cops for being a dirty criminal, what do you do? Stay home? No, you go somewhere to hide out. Why not at your boyfriend’s trailer with his cracker criminal family?

Megan Williams was arrested yesterday and released on an 8k bond.

But passing loads of bad checks doesn’t make her a liar does it?

:'( I live in the area where this happened. And I can say that these people won’t spend a great amount of time in jail for this crime and that is why they committed it. Look at there arrest records. If this county was like the real world, *which it is not* then these people would’ve stayed in jail for the crimes they had previously committed. But you see, Logan County Magistrates like to let people out of jail for all sorts of reasons. For instance , Magistrate Judge Danny Ray Wells. Search out his name. You will find that he was one of our greatest Judges here in Logan County and that he would always let criminals out of jail for many many personal reasons. He would take sex , money and manual labor from criminals in exchange of letting them walk free. But that was just a few years ago and I am sure that our great courthouse has grown even more dependable for these type of things since the Fed’s put Mr. Wells in prison.
Let me give you a prime example of how our lovely court system here works.
You see there is this man that I know he made the front page news in our lovely local newspaper , http://www.loganbanner.com, for night time burglary. You see he decided that at 3 a.m. he would break into this house. Well when he couldn’t gain access to the first one he tried another. Well little did he know that an old neighbor was restless that night and was watching his every move. He was reported to 911 and they send out our big bad local cops. Well this gentleman gains access to the second home and the local po po’s find him hanging out the window. So he goes to jail. He spends a week in there. He gets out. A week later he is in jail again for criminal mischief. He took a pair of high quality bolt cutter and went to a local car wash and cut the padlock off of the change machine. He once again got out of jail. Two weeks later his neighbors find out that he has TAPPED INTO THERE PHONE LINE. He steals electricity from the electric company and gets caught. He gets turned into Child Protective services and they do nothing for the children. They call the state police and all they do is take a report over the phone. Then he attempts to steal a vending machine in a van two nights in a row and gets caught and goes to jail again. He gets out. Then just a few days ago he goes to get gas, and fills his tank up and then decides he doesn’t want to pay for it and so he doesn’t. He drives off. Gets caught and goes to jail again and is let out today. How is it that a man has no job and no family to take care of is let out of jail just to torment society? And the irony to all of that is this, In December when this man was disconnected from the electric company his trailer was broken into by two other convicted felons. He caught them inside his trailer and called the state police and they was put in jail that night. To this day they haven’t been released. One has already been sentenced to 1-5 and the other is awaiting trail. So how is it that this man is any better than the other two who committed the same crime. He broke into a house and they broke into his. ????
So you see from this prime example that the Logan County Court system *ain’t worth shit!!* *The system here sucks.* If this girl wants any kind of justice she had best move her case to charleston. And with as many arrests as these six people have against them there is no way that they haven’t appeared before all of these judges. She should file for a conflict of interest and move her case or she doesn’t have a prayer of getting justice for what they done to her. I am saddened to say that I live in an area that is like this. But it is the truth. You see all the time in our local paper about several arrests made. But never see where anyone is kept in jail, never.
