Another VF stalker

30-year-old Sean E. MacMartin of Bothell, Washington has been arrested for stalking and grooming teenage girls for sex on the goth social site VampireFreaks.

Scary…

Within the past few months, he’s been charged with five counts of rape of a child in the third degree in cases involving girls between the ages of 13 and 14. He coerced them into coming to his Bothell home.

Detectives fear there could be more victims.

The girls got to know MacMartin online. He used nicknames including Soroth, Darklord, and most frequently – Soth.

Eventually they agreed to meet in person at his home, believing the then 29-year-old was in his late teens or early 20s.

Some of the underage girls had sex willingly,

But for at least one, it was not consensual.

In court papers, one alleged victim says:

“… when “Soth” was cooking he asked (the victim) if she wanted some wine with her dinner. (the victim) told “Soth” that she was fourteen. “Soth” said that there were no cops around.”

After dinner, the victim says she fell asleep, then:

“… (the victim) said that she woke up to “Soth” biting her neck. (the victim) said that “Soth” held her hands above her head and sex with her even after she told him to stop.”

Scarier…

Charges have also been filed against MacMartin’s roommate, Robert Schwarzinger, who is accused of having repeated sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Scariest…

MacMartin was able to post his half million dollar bail and is currently out of jail.

I have a feeling we might be seeing Mr. MacMartin’s name in the future…repeatedly.

He was ACCUSED of raping them. That does NOT mean he did it, and i know he didn’t. He pleaded guilty to save his friends from being put on the news on trial and everything. He is a hard working person, and a good person. The accusations were more than escapable, so he took the fall, and made sure his friends and whitnesses werent dragged down with him.

    I met him when I was 18..he claimed I was the first chick he met online. That was back in 2002 or so.. I don’t believe a word he said though. He lied about so much. I will admit I do talk with him from time to time in prison. He’s suffering. And won’t be out till 2027 or close to that date..

I find myself checking this story from time to time. I knew Sean on a very personal level, when I first saw him on the news my heart sank. I wasn’t sure how to feel, I knew he was troubled, but that didn’t stop me from caring about him. I remember receiving a text from a mutual friend asking me to talk with him. That he missed our talks and needed a friend. Part of me wishes I would have reached out, figured out his side of the story.

Some people find it “sick” that people could care about him, and I’ve been that way myself when I read other stories about things like this. It’s completely different when you know the person and have spent time with them. You’re very conflicted.

I’d like an update is anyone has any or still follows the story.
