Hainstock to be tried as adult

Judge: Hainstock To Be Tried As Adult:

Judge Patrick Taggart has ruled that Eric Hainstock, the teen accused of gunning down Weston Schools Principal John Klang, will be tried as an adult.

Judge Patrick Taggart said that Hainstock’s attorneys didn’t prove that moving his murder trial to juvenile court wouldn’t diminish the seriousness of his crime.

Taggart said that evidence showed Hainstock planned to go to Weston Schools with guns and told a janitor that he was there to kill someone.

The judge told the defense lawyers that they only succeeded in meeting one of the three criteria to move the case to juvenile court, WISC-TV reported.

Of course, the defense is not happy.

Hainstock’s attorney Rhoda Ricciardi said that the teen will rot away in prison. She said that therapy he would have received at juvenile facility could have helped him.

What’s your point lady?

Hainstock is now looking at life behind bars.

This sets a dangerous prescident. In Wisconsin 10 year olds can be tried as adults, and now that the judge decided to try him as an adult on other reasons then his maturity that means 10 year olds WILL be tried as adults.

Cool…a few inspirational words from Frank Zappa for soon to be inmate Hainstock:

    “John’s gotta sausage yeah man
    John’s gotta sausage yeah man
    It’ll break yer heart
    Make you fart
Don’t bend over if you are smart”

    and….

“keep it greasy so it’ll go down easy
keep it greasy so it’ll go down easy”

    Frank…a wise wise man

Its not like he hasn’t been raped before. Not that you are demanding that his rapists are punished at all.

i find it interesting how you can make light of this situation. although i am happy that erik will be tried in adult court (after all, he did plan this out in advance and went through with it after giving it thought) it still pains me to see you make fun of him. erik was troubled. every one who knew him knew that. but if he really WAS the victim here, which he clearly is not, he wouldn’t have bullied back. if you bully someone, you get bullied back. Weston is a small school. You know every one there. You know you can get help if you need it. You just have to ask. If Erik would have ASKED for help, he would have recieved it. But he was a bully as well. And when you are that young, what adult really takes it that seriously? Who really thinks that a 15 year old is going to bring a gun to school and try killing people? And in such a small town, you definitely don’t think it’s possible. Erik threatened the safety of every one. He didn’t go there just to kill Mr.Klang. He went there seeking revenge wanting to take the lives of others just to make himself feel better. It’s selfish. He knows what he was doing. He admitted that he intended to kill Mr.Klang. i know Erik has a heart. I know he’s human. I, from personal experience, know that Erik KNEW what he was doing was wrong. But he didn’t care. Erik should be tried as an adult. There is no “saving him.”
And let’s be mature here and focus on the subject at hand. Making fun of him for going to prison and getting butt raped? You’re only contributing to the bullying. Aren’t you cool.

Why yes I am…I am VERY cool 😎

LOL…so now I am contributing to the bullying? OMG….get a freaking clue. And yeah…I WILL make light of the fact that the little murdering punk is going to get his anus enlarged. A very fitting punishment for a murderer in my opinion. I have no sympathy for him. None.

Thats kindof funny, Klang’s wife recently came onto J4J and has more sympathy for him then you do. Whats the appropriate punishment for someone who endorses pedophila I wonder…

Maybe so, but she still feels he had a shitty life he didn’t deserve and I would doubt she would want to see him raped more. I am still wondering how you felt people advocating pedophila should be dealt with.

    Oh. You mean this?

And since you asked……I am John Klang’s widow. I keep a watch over what is being said and by whom throughout the internet. I can see you folks do not understand the laws in Wisconsin. One of the child experts who testified for the defense said that the school and social services did all they could to help Eric. They referred him and referred him and referred him for services, but his dad would never follow through. Most all the kids at school pick on each other and call each other names. Eric did his share. He was seen on more than one occasion calling other kids “fags” and rubbing up against them. And then when the other kids retaliated, he would go to the principal. Of course there were times when he was picked on for other reasons. Do you not think it odd that it was Eric and his best friend who complained the most about bullying and that “nothing was ever done about it”? There were two different principals during this time and neither one would do a thing to help either of them? John would buy Eric clothes and shoes and sit with him and talk to him during lunch time at school. He did everything he could to try to help Eric. Eric was taken out of the home when the charges were filed against Shawn, but he begged to go back and they let him. It is very difficult in Wisconsin to forcibly take children from their home.

Maybe your energy would be better spent trying to convince the people of Wisconsin to change the laws so children don’t have to live in the hideous conditions Eric did. You will never get anyone here to listen to you when you treat Wisconsinites the same way they treated you when you made the web site for Eric. People here are still devastated by John’s loss and when they in turn are called every name in the book because they cry for John and not Eric how do you ever expect them to sympathize with Eric? My grandmother always used to tell us that “you can catch more bees with honey than with vinegar”.

It sounds more like she disputed every one of j4j’s claims if you ask me.

“On Monday, the media wanted to interview me and I granted that request mostly because if I didn’t, they would just call me later at home. I have had many people tell me that I am very fair when I speak out. I try not to make things worse by bashing Eric. One of the reporters asked me if I thought John would be happy with the outcome of the hearing. I told them that there is no “happy” in this. That no good comes from something that has been a tragedy to everyone. In my opinion, the juvenile system is flawed because it sets offenders free at 25 whether they are treated or not. No followup, no parole, no accounting to anyone. No record. The adult system is flawed because it is not set up for treating juveniles, but does parole offenders and they are somewhat accounted for.

“I am far from having enough strength yet to support Eric. This has absolutely devastated us and the community. Hopefully, there is something that can be worked out so Eric will be allowed the treatment he needs. John’s family will be meeting at some point in time with the D.A. again to discuss what the next step will be for us. We’ll see what is in the cards then.” Miss Klang

Notice that she wants him to get treatment, not life in prision, not rape. She is just worried that he won’t be cured by the time he is 25, a reasonable fear to be sure.

The best way to dissuade that fear is to keep him locked up for life.

Well you seem to always be supporting the victims familys opinion. Does that just work when they want revenge?

P.S. When are you going to answer my question?

Since you are quoting me “Hopefully, there is something that can be worked out so Eric will be allowed the treatment he needs” – let me make sure you understand what I meant. I am not advocating that Eric serve his time in the juvenile system. He is in the adult system now, but he has the possibility of be treated for a couple of years in a juvenile facility because of his age and then transfer to an adult facility. And I absolutely would never wish for him to be raped.

Thank you for commenting Mrs. Klang.

I am truly sorry for your loss.
