The root of all evil

Cho sent a manifesto of hate:

This is an article from the News and Observer in Raleigh about the tragedy at Virginia Tech. The thing I like about this article is that it draws the comparison between Cho and North Carolina’s own Alvaro Rafael Castillo and how Cho was not the first school shooter to mail a manifesto.

However, what I really want to discuss is Cho’s obvious hatred for “the rich”. I get the feeling “the rich” are going to become the new “jocks”. Anyway, this is from Cho’s self-serving manifesto…

“Your Mercedes wasn’t enough, you brats,” he said. “Your golden necklaces weren’t enough you snobs. Your trust funds wasn’t enough. Your vodka and cognac wasn’t enough. All your debaucheries weren’t enough. Those weren’t enough to fulfill your hedonistic needs. You had everything.”

Hold it right there Junior. You attended Virginia Tech. You legally owned two handguns. You recorded yourself on video camera. The files were transferred to QuickTime which leads me to believe you owned some form of Mac. None of those things are cheap. I hate to break it to you Slapnuts since I know you’re busy rotting in hell right now, but you were richer than a lot of people.

Personally, I think you were just a jealous bitch who wasn’t rich enough.

Yeah, his manifesto made no sense. He said he was jealous of others, but he had the same opportunites everyone else had. The same money. The same education. The same classes. He just neglected to allow himself to participate.

Also, was any of these ideas really in his mind? Did he truly feel persecuted and envious of others or just say that on his video, thinking that others would somehow pity him?

Also, a new meme is trying to go around claiming that he was bullied somehow. No evidence exists of it, but there are stories of friends of friends who say he might have been pushed around. Regardless, it still does not amount to bullying. He was at the nicest school in Virginia, surrounded by the nicest and friendliest people.

Cho was just a freak. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8OJPBU00&show_article=1

Does my credit card (from a bank I have been doing business with since I was 16…I am 30 now) consitute as a bully for having raised my intrest rates for no reason whatsoever? No late payment EVER. NEVER defaulted. And this is just one example of many dilemas I face daily in life….

Honestly, I would take on 100 of my biggest bullies from high school to get back my 7.9% APR….Really, I would.

Thing is, I hate to see these kids make it to real adulthood when the real pressures start to be layed on. When you actually start paying for services only to be bullied. Imagine these psychos when they find out a warranty they paid out the ass for won’t cover the actual part that is wrong with their car. Or just imagine their house washing away and to find out they don’t have flood insurance. THESE are real dilemas that adults face daily and guess what? We may kick and scream and throw our tantrums…BUT WE DON’T DAMN KILL PEOPLE!!!!

The fact that we are creating a generation of ‘mutants’ (I like that term) who actually think this behavior exceptable is down right frightening.

Fell free to use the term ‘mutant’ I’d recommend it to all your friends too. 🙂

As long as there are those in this society who choose to place the blame of why these crimes happen on guns, music, games, bullying, religion, and all the other reasons that people whine about, there will be no responsibility on behalf of the individual who commits the crime. How convenient it is to blame society at large for the personal choices of a very sick individual.
Cho’s manifesto read to me as a collection of rationalizations. In the end he couldn’t even muster the guts to take responsibility for HIS decision to go on this killing rampage. He cowardly placed blame elsewhere, anywhere, but where it rightly belonged…on himself.

His poor (in every sense of the word) parents….. They succesfully escape poverty and reach the middle classes, but it is not enough for their son. They are more than likely very conscious of how far they have come. It must be terrible for them to have him throw it in their faces in this manner.

That’s great. I’ve got to start using that one. Haven’t heard something that good since Mel Gibson’s “sugar tits”. 🙂
