Mom says teen accused in school terror plot is victim of bullying:

The mother of Brent Clark is saying that her son was bullied. I wonder what took her so long.

“What the public does not know is that we have discovered that he has been bullied at school for almost a year,” Danette Reed said. “No one is willing to investigate that allegation.”

That’s all well and good but what does Clark being bullied have to do with trying to take a girl hostage at knifepoint? Why did he want to kill a girl who barely knew him?

    Well it is pretty hard to deny he was bullied when someone who has relatives that went to classes with him said he was. Now I am not going to defend his decision, but since when do we expect kids that have snapped, to be logical.

    What’s that? Fourth hand information? Yeah, that’s reliable. I wish I had a dime for everyone who’s ever said that they knew someone who knew one of the many killers that have been profiled on this site. I’d be a pretty rich man.

    Well his mother is what 2nd hand information, who has to say that this kid was bullied before you believe it? The principal? lol that almost didn’t happen in the Andy Williams case but only you would deny he was bullied there.

    Actually, gentlemen: it is firsthand information–but the parents of the kids in the know won’t allow their kids to provide testimony. We had 12 teachers willing to write character references. One teacher asked the District about it. Within 48 hours, all twelve teachers had withdrawn their material support. Doesn’t matter–we still have MANY character references, not to mention a very comprehensive record of his background.

    We never said he should walk away. What we said was: all factors should be balanced when making a decision that wipes out a person’s entire future. Counseling should be part of the “fix”. By prosecuting this kid as an adult, the Prosector denies him any form of counseling. How would you like to spend your life in prison with no chance to fix anything and no chance to redeem yourself, just because somebody wanted more votes? Is that the right reason to destroy a child’s life? What would be best for both society and the kid? What would at least be fair? Up until now, I thought the law was about JUSTICE. Open your eyes, folks: THE LEGAL SYSTEM IS ABOUT WHO HAS MORE SHINY PENNIES, NOT waht is right or wrong.
