Victim testifies in Campbell County shooting

Campbell County High Assistant Principal Jim Pierce testified today in a hearing to see if Kenny Bartley will be tried as an adult or a juvenile. Mr. Pierce gave his account of the shooting…

Pierce, an assistant principal, testified today in Campbell County Juvenile Court that he summoned Bartley to his office after receiving a tip the boy was armed.

“I just told Kenny I want what you have in your pocket,” Pierce testified.

Bartley brandished a gun, Pierce said.

“Kenny stood up with the gun waving it at all of use,” he testified.

“Mr. Seale asked him if it was real. He said yes it’s real, I’ll show you I never liked you anyway.”

Pierce said Bartley reached into his pocket, pulled out an ammunition clip and popped it into the gun and started shooting.

As we know now administrators Jim Pierce and Gary Seale were wounded while Ken Bruce was killed.

I guess there goes that “accidental shooting” theory that so many of Bartley’s supporters have espoused.

I’m sure it makes no sense to you oh exhalted ignored one (as I’m sure many many things make no sense to you). It takes about 1 second to pop a clip into a gun. and about 1/2 of a second to pull the slide back to load and cock it. But I guess educators should also be required to have the reflexes of a cat as part of their job description.

LOL…I’m sure the exhalted ignored one will be in shortly refuting my claim as I’m sure that this 2nd year community college expert is also an expert in firearms as he in everything else…nevermind the fact that I spent 10 years in the USMC and spent time as an MP carrying a 9mm handgun…but I’m SURE that he will know better -)

Ignored one’s entertainment value is priceless at times. I should just start capitalizing it now and make it his tag from now on…Exhalted Ignored One….I like it 😀

Ignorance breed by familiarity, how often when you were on the USMC did you see newbies loading guns?, I doubt someone who has never used a gun before does it that quickly (though I could be wrong). For that matter why didn’t he disarm the kid as soon as he saw the gun like hes fucking supposed to…

Oh and if you are going to call me the ignored one it helps to ignore me… dumbass.

Seale is so full of shit it hurts my soul. The least the two principles could have done was get their stories straight before they took the stand. The gun was already loaded with the clip in it before Kenneth left for school that day. He did not load it in the office and say, “I never liked you anyway.” That is such bullshit. The principles are trying to cover up for their negligence. Pierce even testified that Ken Bruce was shot during the struggle for the weapon. Thus, he was shot unintentionally. And Kenneth never had a chance to flee the office. That is total bullshit. By saying he loaded the gun they make it look like a malicious act of premeditation, when in fact it was a horrible accident caused by their carelessness. Random, aimless gunfire as a result of being tackled does not warrant a charge of first degree murder, or even second. Kenneth was shot in the hand during the struggle too. Do you think he intentionally shot himself in the hand? No, I think not. They walked a child who was suspected of having a gun through a crowded school corridor and into a crowded office. They put ever single student and staff member at risk that day. What if Kenneth had really intended to shoot someone that day? This would have been an opportune time. But no, he sat calmly in the office for 20 minutes before the other principle arrived and the three administrators took him into a smaller office and shut the door. The xanax was what Kenneth was selling when another student reached into his pocket to try to take the xanax because Kenneth would not give it to him for free. This is when the student felt the gun. The student only told on Kenneth because he would not give him the xanx for free. He did not do it because he cared about the safety of others. This story has gotten so distorted by the media it is unreal. You are all so far from the truth that it is really pointless for you to even discuss it further. You are only wasting your time by discussing an event that did not take place the way you would like to believe it did. But I realize you people get off on distorting the truth and making things look sick and twisted. Bless your souls. There are better things to do with your time than to obsess over stories you know nothing about.

Yes I have to agree that his testimony WAS bullshit and IS bullshit.They called him to the office.Asked if he had anything that he shouldnt have a school.He said “no”.Imagine this….walk in a room two chairs with their backs to you.Seale was in one.Theres a desk.Pierce was behind it.MR.BRUCE WASNT EVEN IN THERE!!!..They called for him to come to the office over the intercom.So he wasnt even there when Kenny pulled out the gun.OK.Back to the story.Seale asked what he had in his pocket.He said “nothing”.But they can see it bulging out.So Seale goes to grab it (cause he realizes if its a gun they cant let him gert it out himself),and Kenny slapped his hand away.And pulled it out himself.Hes got it in his hand.CLIP STILL IN POCKET.And he starts waving it around.And Pierce said “Is it loaded”.Bartley says “no”.And Seale goes to get up.Bartley says “i never liked you anyway” and shoots at him.But it misses and goes in the wall.They’re making their way to him and he shoots again,this time hitting Seale.Seale lunges on him and Pierce is coming around.Pierce gets shot on the way down.So they’re just lying there now.And Bartley gets up and Mr.Bruce walks to the door and sees him doing it.And (he was the smart one) he moves out of the way to give Bartley a chance to flee.Well considering he was in the Army he apparently knew what he was doing.BUT Bartley follows him into the hall and shoots him in the chest.It went straight to his lungs,so he died almost instantly.This is straight from Bruce’s brother.He was in the courtroom.And the media needs to shut the hell up.They got this whole damn thing messed up.

What a great point. Kenneth Bartley is a saint and didn’t do anything wrong. He’s a maligned everyman who’s getting smeared by the ‘media.’ It’s not his fault the gun was loaded. The liberal media made him do it. His ability to illegally sell Xanax shows what an industrial and entepreneurial young man this is. We should all pray that Kenneth gets a slap on the wrist so he can get back out on to the streets and accidentally shoot some more innocent people.
