Ashton Glover’s killers plead not guilty

Two plead not guilty in Sugar Land slaying:

Matt McCombs and Sean Brown have both pleaded not guilty in the shooting death of Ashton Glover. Which suits me just fine because hopefully that will make them eligible for the chair.

Once again, a defense attorney makes me chuckle…

After today’s hearing, McCombs’ attorney Ira Chenkin said “the people of this community are going to find out that he is not nearly as bad as they think he is.”

Chenkin said McCombs feels terrible for what’s going on.

How could shooting a 16-year-old girl in the head, at point-blank range, out of morbid curiosity not be as bad as we think it is? I think the only reason McCombs feels terrible is that he got caught.

    I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS STORY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. I TOO THINK THAT THE ONLY THING THE TWO REGRET IS “GETTING CAUGHT”. CAUSE IF THEY HAD ANY REMORSE FOR THEIR ACTIONS, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE UP AND RUN AFTER THEIR “BORBID” CRIME SPREE. I FEEL SORRY FOR WHAT THOSE TWO HAVE BUT ALL FAMILY MEMBERS THROUGH. ASHTON’S FAMILY BROWN’S AND MCCOMBS FAMILY AS WELL. I DON’T SEE WHAT THERE IS TO BE SO “CURIOUS” ABOUT WHEN SOMEONE KILLS SOMEONE ELSE. WELL”CUROSITY” MIGHT JUST KILL THE TWO CATS HERE IN THE LONE STAR STATE OF “TEXAS” SAD SAD TRAGIC.

    why is the news stopping . what is happening ti the two killers? if they admitted it why are they backing out of it it is crazy. she did’nt have a chance to repent or tell her family by so why do these losers still have the time.please keep me posted with news i have followed this case to then all the news stopped i really feel sorry for their families and i pray for them.

    Are there any updates on the trial? I went to the same high school as Ashton, Brown, and McCombs so I had been following this closely until the news stopped. I live in Dallas now so I it is not covered locally.

    ok so this is going to be a little vent time for me… ashtons older sister is my best friend… and i have known ashont since she was a little kid… i hate these two boys with everything that i am… but at the same time i know that my god is an awesome god and justice will be done… i just pray everyday that those two boys will feel at least some of the pain that terica and her family feels everyday… and i would also like to praise my best friend b/c she is the strongest most amazing women in this world and i love her with my whole heart… come their time… they will get what the deserve… i love you ashton caniell glover and i miss you dearly… keep watching over your sister.. she needs you..

    Thats total BS how can they say that they arent as bad as we think…Ashton and I played a game of football with them and they were totally secluded from the entire group the entire time just watching everyone…for them to kill her point blank is disgusting they need to be put on death row. What they did to her family and her is unforgiveable they need to pay for what they did.
