    Werribee suspects charged

    Eight charged over Werribee DVD:

The suspects in the Werribee DVD assault case have finally been charged. They’re facing charges of procuring sexual penetration by intimidation, manufacturing child pornography, and assault.

The Australian teens recorded themselves sexually assaulting a mildly mentally disabled girl, then sold the DVD to classmates.

Thanks to Alan for the link.

  • Osantowski sentenced for break-in

    Osantowski sentenced for break-in

Teen imprisoned in massacre plot sentenced in unrelated cases:

The Michigan Mutant, Andrew Osantowski has been sentenced for the break-in at a local gun shop. He received a sentence of 11 months, but they may as well just throw out the charges because he’ll serve in concurrently with his 4 1/2-year sentence for the school plot. Way to serve justice there, Judge. A concurrent sentence will be sure to teach him a lesson.

  • Osantowski to be sentenced on yet another charge

Osantowski to be sentenced on yet another charge

Our favorite Michigan mutant, Andrew Osantowski, is back in the news again. This time for one of his many sentencings. He will be sentenced on March 6th for charges of breaking and entering into a gun shop, which he pleaded guilty to. He had stolen the guns in preparation for his planned assault against Chippewa Valley High School. He is already serving a 4 1/2 year sentence for the plot.

  • Werribee suspects may receive light sentences

I got a tip from a reader Alan in Australia who says that two of the Werribee rape DVD suspects will be receiving light sentences. This is the e-mail he sent me verbatim.

Something finally appears to be stirring from the Victoria Police.

It appears only two of them will face charges of sexual assault.

This is from a myspace page that has gone from private to public.

ah not really, they just wanted me to describe the night and how i made
the bomb n shit, and they asked if i feel guilty and if i understand wat i
    did was wrong lol

yer man, made me do sum interview thing, and they showd dad the dvd. the
f**khead hit the roof. Strted clipping me n shit infrnt of tht copper and
was like giving them permission to take me prints n shit.

Yer well they said i got sum caution of behaviour bond thing, so no

A good behavior bond *shakes head*

I’ll bring you confirmation as soon as I get it.

  • Robin Kittrell sentenced

Kittrell, 17, sentenced to 10 months detention:

Robin Kittrell, the 17-year-old who was arrested for bringing guns to school in order to prevent a Columbine, has been sentenced. Kittrell has been sentenced to youth boot camp for 3 to 4 months, then 3 to 6 months in a detention center. Then, when he’s released, he’ll get a year on intensive probation, followed by nine years of regular probation.

Now, this is an actual example of where a kid needs help and not too much jail time. His intention was not to hurt, but to protect. He just went about it in a misguided way.

I hope at least that he’s able to get help somewhere.

  • Osantowski pleads guilty to gun theft

Osantowski pleads guilty to gun theft

Teen imprisoned in massacre plot pleads guilty to stealing guns:

The original Michigan mutant, Andrew Osantowki, has pleaded guilty to stealing two guns that were unrelated to his school shooting plot conviction. In June 2004, he had stolen an AK-47 and a shotgun from a gun shop. Osantowski still has to go to yet another trial in January for theft charges for a stolen golf cart that was taken from a golf course and tools he stole from a cemetery.

  • Werribee victim may have had relationship with suspect

    Werribee DVD tryst twist:

THE girl at the centre of the Werribee DVD sex assault investigation was allegedly in a continuing relationship with one of the teens.

Copies of the DVD, which showed sexual acts and the girl’s hair being set alight, were sold at schools.

Sources have told the Herald Sun at least one of the teens caught on the DVD continued a relationship with the victim for several months after the degrading film was made.

Police are investigating whether rape charges can be laid against any of the teens involved.

The relationship may become vital in investigations as to whether consent for sex was given during the filming of the DVD, titled C— the Movie, and the charges police can lay.

And so what if she was? Does that make the assault any less wrong?

However, I do like this part…

It is possible some of the youths captured in the crude DVD may be charged as adults.

At least one of the youths questioned by police has turned 18 since the offences took place in June.

Most of those in the video are believed to be aged 16 and 17.

Under Victorian law a person can be tried as an adult if they have turned 18 since the offence.

I wish they would try this in the U.S.

  • Kittrell pleads guilty

    Student pleads to weapons violations:

Will wonders never cease? Robin Kittrell, the Georgia teen who brought guns to school allegedly to prevent a Columbine-like attack, has actually pleaded guilty to six counts of possession of a weapon on school property, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of underage possession of a firearm. Not only that, but no deal was struck along with the plea.

This is the kind of the kid who deserves help. Not the kid who shoots up his school or kills his family. It’s obvious to me that this kid had good intentions but incredibly bad judgment. It’s not too late for him.

  • Another Werribee suspect?

This comment on The Whole Story brings us the MySpace of this guy (goatse alert-NSFW) who left the following comments on another MySpace…

  • Werribee victim speaks out

Justin of The Whole Story, who first brought the Werribee story to my attention, has a great entry about the victim speaking out.
