Police: Man Lured Minor From MySpace:

The surprised looking dude over there is 26-year-old Douglas Brian Wall of Ferndale, Michigan. He’s in jail for having sex with a 15-year-old girl that he lured to his house via MySpace. He’s also accused of supplying drugs and alcohol to minors. A regular pillar of the community, this guy is.

A parent tipped off police shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve. The parent said he discovered his minor children had been at Wall’s home.

A search of his home turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation also revealed that Wall had sex with a 15-year-old girl from “a nearby city” several times over a two-month period. Police said other juveniles, some as young as 14, were in the house during the encounters, drinking and using drugs.

I wonder how many parents were totally unaware of their kid’s behavior. All it takes is a little check-up on their computer.

Mr. Hall here, however, just may possibly be the absolute least productive member of society and deserves to be thrown in a hole for an awfully long time.

    31 and 13 both say they’re 16

Man Arrested After Meeting 13-year-old Girl on MySpace:

31-year-old Corey Hubbard of Valdosta, Georgia was arrested after taking a 13-year-old girl from Canton, Georgia he met on MySpace to a hotel. Here’s the mileage in case you were wondering.

Both we’re pretending to be 16-year-olds on MySpace. In case you were wondering again, 16 is the age of consent in Georgia.

Investigators said the two ended up at a Canton motel in the middle of the night. Officers said fortunately, the young girl had second thoughts. Investigators said Hubbard paid for a room, but just before going inside, the girl told Hubbard that she needed to make a phone call.

“She text messaged her friend and her father called back and told her to get to the hotel manager’s office,” said Sergeant Baker.

Pryush Patel, the hotel manager who called 911 said, “She told me she was here with someone and she was scared.”

When authorities arrived at the hotel, the girl was reunited with her parents and Hubbard was arrested.

Luckily, the girl had second thoughts or else we might be talking about this as a missing child story…

“This turned out pretty good considering the items we found in the trunk, a knife, rope, rubber gloves and a cooler,” said Sergeant Baker.

It sounds like they might have been finding this girl in 5 different counties.

Again, parents, if you ever needed any more incentive to monitor your kids’ internet activity, this should be it.

Reno man arrested for luring teen boys

Police: Reno man used Craigslist to lure boys to home:

32-year-old Jason Hunter was arrested on Thursday for using craigslist to lure two teen boys to his home before sexually assaulting one of them.

According to police, the suspect met the two boys, 13 and 15, through Craigslist under the ruse he was a 20-year-old woman.

During online conversations, the “woman” asked the boys to come over to her cousin’s home where they could party, investigators said.

One of the boy’s misled his mother into giving them a ride there, saying instead it was a friend’s home.

Hunter is accused of providing them alcohol. Both boys later passed out on his bed, and the younger boy told police he awoke to find the suspect sexually assaulting him.

Granted, this guy is a piece of trash that should be locked away in a hole somewhere, but what parent allows their kids to go on craigslist? Just like everything else, I’m guessing that most parents aren’t even aware what lurks on craigslist let alone knowing what it is.

  • Family fun on craigslist

    Family fun on craigslist

    Craigslist.org a source of crimes:

It seems that other news outlets are picking up on how much crime goes on through craigslist. This is an article from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette that relates at least one story that I missed.

But sometimes, the questionable listings aren’t flagged — for instance, the one police say Brian Lee Nestor posted back in September.

According to an affidavit filed in his case in federal court, Mr. Nestor, 44, of Squirrel Hill, put a listing under Craigslist’s “Casual Encounters” section.

It read: “Anybody into family fun?” followed by, “bring your son and hang out with us.”

A Greensburg police officer who handles computer crimes for the jurisdiction found the ad on Sept. 9.

He responded to the posting, saying that “Family fun sounds great, reply with age, limits, a photo would be great.”

The police officer and Mr. Nestor corresponded through e-mail for several days. According to the affidavit, Mr. Nestor, who also solicited child pornography, became frustrated: “Look I’m tired of these endless e-mails. … I’m just looking to get with a boy discreetly.”

In one exchange, Mr. Nestor, who was previously investigated by the FBI but not charged for having thousands of images of child pornography on his computer, wrote that when they met, the two men would have to expose themselves to each other to ensure that neither was a cop.

He was arrested Sept. 14 and charged with coercion and enticement, as well as possession of child pornography. Mr. Nestor’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday.

So let’s add pedophilia and child molestation to the list of things that craigslist is helping to facilitate. craigslist’s mouthpiece Susan MacTavish Best had the usual to say…

    …inappropriate ads…flagged by users…blah blah blah…

    But I may be paraphrasing.

A lot of people think that newspapers, or old media if you will, have a vendetta against craigslist since they’ve taken a big chunk out of their newspaper’s revenue by not charging for classifieds. That may be true, but doesn’t old media still have a responsibility to report the news? And this my friends, is news that more people should be seeing.

Prosecutor Scumbag Peepants does off himself

Prosecutor jailed on child sex charges commits suicide:

You remember John David Roy Atchison, don’t you? In case you don’t, he was the federal prosecutor from Florida who went to Michigan to have sex with what he thought was a 5-year-old. It also turned out that Atchison had a diaper and urination fetish. Also, while he was in custody he tried to kill himself.

If you didn’t notice, I’m talking about him in the past tense. It seems that he was successful this time in ending his own life.

He hanged himself this morning at the federal prison in Milan, where he was taken after trying to commit suicide last month at Sanilac County Jail, authorities said.

    Coward.

Thanks to Soobs for the link.

Prosecutor in sex sting arrest attempts suicide:

It seems that our favorite diaper wearing scumbag prosecutor John David “Roy” Atchison tried to off himself today. Let me get out the violin…

John David “Roy” Atchison, the Florida federal prosecutor indicted for allegedly flying from Pensacola, Fla., to Detroit to have sex with a 5-year-old girl, tried to hang himself early this morning at the Sanilac County Jail, officials confirmed.

The 4 a.m. suicide attempt came only one day after Atchison asked a federal judge to take him off a suicide watch and assured her he would not try to harm himself.

Atchison tied a sheet around his neck, but the suicide attempt was discovered by sheriff’s deputies before he had a chance to harm himself, Sheriff Virgil Strickler said today.

“One of the other inmates hollered that he was doing it,” and jail deputies responded quickly, Strickler said.

The inmate in the adjacent cell raised the alarm.

When I first caught this story on Topix, I left a comment that said I wish he had finished the job, but I now take that back. I want there to be a long and lengthy trial followed by the longest prison stay possible. I want him to live his hell every day for the rest of his life.

As an added bonus, someone did a Yahoo search for Atchison’s MySpace handle “fldaddy04”. Besides my site, it also brought up a message board called….ugh, I’m so disgusted…The PeeSearch Community. I was unable to access the user profile, and I was not about to go through the requirements to view it. But there at least was a user on that board with the username fldaddy04. Draw your own conclusions.

    Prosecutor Scumbag

Feds: Prosecutor sought ‘younger girls’ on MySpace:

I’m sure by now, most of you have heard the story about Florida Federal Prosecutor John David Roy Atchison. Never trust a man with four names, by the way. He was arrested for trying to arrange to have sex with a 5-year-old girl from Michigan. That 5-year-old girl turned out to be an undercover investigator.

Our cousins at Detroit Free Press quote police who say John David Roy Atchison, 53, arrived at the airport in Detroit “with a Dora the Explorer doll, hoop earrings and petroleum jelly for a 5-year-old he planned to have sex with” following a series of online conversations with an undercover investigator.

“Atchison reassured the sheriff’s deputy who was posing as the child’s mother that he would not hurt the 5-year-old because he goes ‘slow and easy,’ and ‘I’ve done it plenty,’” The Detroit News reports.

Atchison is married with children, according to the Free Press, which says he runs a youth sports group in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

So God only knows how many victims this scumbag has.

Anyway, it turns out that Prosecutor Scumbag had a MySpace…

A MySpace.com page that a criminal complaint identified as belonging to John David Roy Atchison, an indicted federal prosecutor from Gulf Breeze, Fla., said he enjoyed spoiling young girls.

Under the user name fldaddy04, name John and caption “Experienced, understanding Daddy,” Atchison allegedly described himself in his profile as:

“Handsome, educated, professional, experienced Daddy. I love younger girls. Like everything about you…how you think, talk, act. I’m very understanding and supportive..,never ever judgmental.”

The profile goes on to say that he would like to “pamper, spoil, change and take care of” girls.

His general interests are listed as “surfing, diving, boating…everything to do with the water…music and cute girls.”

Just copying and pasting that made me ill.

A prosecutor and a creeper. They’re going to love him in prison.

  • Conn. Creeper Sentenced

    Conn. Creeper Sentenced

Man sentenced for arranging sex with girl he met on MySpace:

I originally posted about Jason Palmeira here. He was charged with using the Internet to persuade a minor to engage in sexual activity and traveling in interstate commerce for the purpose of attempting to have, and having, illicit sexual conduct with a minor. That’s a mouthful. In English…

Palmeira traveled on July 13 from Massachusetts to Connecticut to meet the girl, picking her up in a green sports car. He drove the girl to Massachusetts, bringing her to a location he described as his girlfriend’s house, the affidavit says.

Once at the house, Palmeira is accused of having sexual contact with the girl, putting his finger in her vagina and driving her back to Connecticut, dropping her off at the Simsbury Public Library the following morning, according to the affidavit.

Of course, this was all arranged over MySpace.

For his troubles, Palmeira was sentenced to three years behind bars.

    Patrick Buss sentenced

Willamette Valley man pleads guilty in MySpace sex case:

One of the earliest cases I posted about MySpace crimes was that of Patrick Buss. He’s the man from Oregon who tried to lure underage girls to a motel over MySpace. However, the girls were having none of that and reported him to police.

Yesterday, Buss pleaded guilty to attempted sex abuse and was sentenced to 7 years behind bars. If that sounds light, don’t worry. He’s already serving a 20-year sentence for a previous offense.
