  • Other Marshfield witness can’t recall anything either

Former classmates testify in Joseph Nee trial:

Several former classmates of Joe Nee were able to testify about specific details of Joe Nee’s obsession with guns and Columbine. Yet when it came time for the other witness that was granted immunity to testify Joseph Sullivan also conveniently claimed that he couldn’t recall the details of Nee’s role in the plot to attack Marshfield. Just like Daniel Farley’s testimony.

It almost seems like this trial is being put on just for show.

    Also, the prosecution rested today.

  • Marshfield witness can’t recall details

Witness in ’05 school plot case says he can’t recall many details:

Could the trial of Joe Nee be any more of a joke?

Yesterday one of the witnesses who was granted immunity, Daniel Farley, all of a sudden can’t recall details of the plot to attack Marshfield High. Which is funny to me because in the trial of Tobin Kerns Farley had no problems with recollection. You would think that if your ass almost went to jail you’d remember the details of why pretty clearly.

Farley, who was granted immunity in exchange for his testimony, said during cross-examination: “It’s been dragged out so many years, everything’s foggy. . . . I cannot give an accurate testimony.”

How convenient now that you’re testifying in the trial of the son of the head of the Boston police union.

His father, Thomas J. Nee, president of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association, said after the nearly seven-hour hearing that he was glad to finally be in court.

“This is where the truth comes out,” he said. “I have faith in the system.”

Don’t you mean faith in collusion? Coercion maybe?

  • Opening statements in Nee trial

Trial starts for ex-Marshfield student charged in plot:

A little more from the proceedings at yesterday’s trial of Joe Nee.

In his opening statement Nee’s attorney, Thomas Dreschler, argued that his client deserved the same treatment as ‘informants’ Daniel Farley and Joseph Sullivan. Farley and Sullivan originally fingered Tobin Kerns as the ringleader then after Kerns’ arrest rolled on Nee. Farley and Sullivan were active participants in the plot but were granted immunity for their testimony in both trials.

In the prosecutions opening statement, Karen O’Sullivan stated that Nee and Kerns plotted the attack together. I don’t see how she could say that since in my estimation all evidence points squarely at Nee.

  • Father of Dillon Cossey jailed

Father of boy who planned school attack is jailed:

Frank Cossey, the father of would be homeschooled school shooter Dillon Cossey, has been jailed. He violated his parole when he failed a drug test.

Cossey the elder was convicted of manslaughter back in the ’80s and had attempted to buy a rifle for his son by lying on the application stating he had no previous convictions.

  • Trial starts for Joe Nee

The trial for the second suspect in the plot to attack Marshfield High school in Massachusetts started today. The first ‘suspect’, Tobin Kerns, was convicted for his alleged role in the plot and was sentenced to 10 months in jail.

It’s no secret that I think Tobin Kerns was actually set up by the defendant in today’s trial, Joe Nee. For all my posts on that, you can check the archives.

Here are two articles about today’s proceedings. Pretty much both of them say a whole lot of nothing. All they say is that there were opening statements and witness testimony. Way to display those journalism degrees guys. Considering that the trial of Tobin Kerns was documented in detail by both newspapers this is ridiculous.

As I’ve mentioned before Nee’s father, Thomas Nee, is the head of the Boston police union. Is it possible that the media is downplaying this trial because of some kind of arrangement with the Boston Police Department? That’s pure speculation on my part but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

  • Osantowski resentencing delayed again

    Osantowski resentencing delayed again

    Mount Clemens: Resentencing delayed:

Our favorite Michigan Neo-Nazi school shooting wannabe scamp, Andrew Osantowski, has had his resentencing rescheduled again.

The re-sentencing, originally scheduled for Monday, is a result of a recent Court of Appeals decision that upheld Andrew Osantowski’s conviction under Michigan’s 2001 terrorism law.

He was originally sentenced to 4/12 years for plotting an attack against Chippewa Valley High School, but his sentence was appealed by prosecutors, who said the judge did not interpret the law correctly. Osantowski could get an additional 20 years.

  • Dillon Cossey sentenced

    Dillon Cossey sentenced

Pa. Boy Sentenced for Stockpiling Guns:

Dillon Cossey is the 14-year-old homeschooled boy from Pennsylvania who pleaded guilty to plotting an attack against Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School. Today, he was sentenced to 7 years in a juvenile facility. The case has been noteworthy because of Cossey’s mom, Michele Cossey, buying guns for her precious little snowflake. She’s facing charges as well, however the judge let her have it in court today…

In court, the judge said Dillon’s mother, Michele Cossey, had created a “me and mom against the world” attitude in her son.

“This kid has been so totally desocialized, he has no friends,” Tressler said.

“You want this kid dependent on you? Go buy a dog, go buy a pet,” he told Michele Cossey.

And you don’t let him sit on the computer all day unsupervised.

I’m guessing mom won’t receive nearly as much time as her mutant brood, but she should.

  • Dillon Cossey’s mom held for trial

Dillon Cossey’s mom held for trial

Mother of Plymouth Whitemarsh High youth held for trial:

Michele Cossey, the mother of would be school shooter Dillon Cossey, has been ordered to stand trial on charges of unlawful transfer of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a minor, and child endangerment. If you recall, it was revealed after Dillon Cossey was arrested that his mother was the one who bought the firearms for the 14-year-old.

Dillon Cossey came to the attention of police on Oct. 10 after a friend told authorities the teen planned a Columbine-like assault on Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. Cossey, who is in the custody of juvenile authorities, admitting the plot and said his mother bought him the weapons, which led to charges against his mother.

This is the first case that I can recollect where a parent is being charged in connection with a school shooting plot.

  • Not bullying but parenting

    Not bullying but parenting

Commentary – It isn’t bullying, stupid, it’s the parenting:

Here we have another editorial about school shooters and would be shooters that pretty much says the same thing that I’ve been saying for years. The post mainly focuses on would be shooter Dillon Cossey

His parents supplied him with real weapons — though no ammo — to match his fantasies: His bedroom contained a .9 mm semiautomatic rifle, homemade grenades, knives and swords. He also had a swastika flag, neo-Nazi literature and a Columbine massacre video.

Classmates would have rejected Cossey, if he’d stayed in school. They would have told Dillon he’s crazy, which would have been useful feedback. Instead, he was nurtured, accepted and loved by the world’s dopiest parents.

While I fully support homeschooling, not every parent is capable of carrying it out. Such is the case of the Cosseys.

And as I’ve been saying for many years, lax parenting is the biggest cause of school shootings and not bullying. When parents teach their kids about some fantasy world where life is fair and allow their kids to continue to have obsessions with other killers and allow it to remain unchecked, these shootings will keep happening.

  • Tobin Kerns sentenced

    Tobin Kerns sentenced

Teen convicted of massacre plot gets 10 months in jail:

Tobin Kerns has been sentenced to 10 months behind bars with five months time served for his alleged part in a plot to attack Marshfield High School in Massachusetts.

For the first time in my blogging career, I actually mean alleged because it was never proven to my satisfaction that he had an active role in the plot. Unfortunately, I’m not the judge in the case and I think Judge Louis Coffin has been blinded by politics.

Like I’ve said numerous times before when discussing the Marshfield plot, I think there is definitely some chicanery going on considering that the other suspect in this plot is Joe Nee, the son of the head of the Boston police union.

His trial is scheduled to start on Jan 30th. Since Tobin was sentenced to 10 months, Joe Nee should be sentenced to 10 years. In my opinion, it’s his fault that Tobin has to spend even a day in jail, since I consider him the actual mastermind behind the plot. In my opinion, he turned Tobin in to deflect blame from himself. As usual, you can see my previous postings on this in the archives.

The fact that Tobin has to spend even one day in jail is a travesty of justice.
