    Man gets 8 years, took girl to DC for prostitution:

    30-year-old Levar Simms of Washington D.C. was sentenced to 8 years behind bars on federal charges of being a craigslist pimp. They actually called it interstate transportation of a minor for the purpose of prostitution but my way is more to the point. so not only was he a craigslist pimp but he was a craigslist pimp of a child prostitute.

    Simms met the 16-year-old girl outside of a shelter in Greensboro, NC and then forced her into prostitution.

    8 years is a joke for a scumbag like this. As far as I’m concerned pimping out kids should carry a mandatory life sentence.

  • Illinois teens sentenced for rape

    Teens Sentenced In 2006 MySpace Rape:

    It seems like I’ve been blogging about this case since forever and now it comes to a very anti-climactic and unjust end in my opinion.

    Then 18-year-old Angel Alverio and then 17-year-old Tony Pacheco met a 14-year-old girl over MySpace, got her drunk until she passed out and raped her.

    So how does the justice system punish these two? Well for all intents and purposes they didn’t They both received 24 months of probation and 10 years on the sex offender registry.

    That’s a great message. Commit rape and you’ll only get probation. Pathetic.

  • Brooke Bennett’s ex-stepfather receives new charges

    Vt girl’s ex-stepdad charged in Ala. w/ child porn:

    Ray Gagnon, Brooke Bennett’s former stepfather, has been charged with possession of child porn, but not in Texas where he lives. He was charged by the state of Alabama.

    Alabama is saying that Gagnon stored child porn in a house where he used to live in Cullman, Alabama.

    It seems that the mother’s side of Brooke Bennett’s family has a problem with pedophiles. Brooke’s mother married Gagnon, Brooke’s aunt married Michael Jacques.

    I’m not saying it’s the women’s fault but what are the odds that two sisters would both marry pedophiles?

    Coming as a surprise to absolutely no one Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig Nolan announced today that Brooke Bennett’s death was, in fact, a homicide.

    However, Nolan did not release any details in her death or who they think killed Brooke.

  • Brooke Bennett’s parents speak out

    Brooke’s Parents Speak:

    Brooke Bennett’s parents have finally spoken to the media.

    Brooke’s father and stepmother, Jim and Janet Bennett, basically want to see Michael Jacques burn in hell.

    “I hope they put him away forever and he rots in hell,” says Janet Bennett, Brooke’s stepmother.

    Brooke’s mother, Cassandra Gagnon, agrees…

    “I hate that I’ve got so much anger in me, but I think the death penalty is what he deserves, but I think that is a sweet justice for him,” she says.

    Now a lot of you have been questioning why Brooke’s mother would leave her alone around a known sex offender. She had this to say…

    Gagnon says she never allowed her daughter to visit Jacques house if another adult wasn’t present.

    “They have no idea. I could have been right next to her and someone could have grabbed her. I was at work and I knew where my children were. They always talk to me, so if people want to judge me, that’s their choice, but to hell with them.”

    I’m sure you’ll have a lot to say about that.

    Cops trail Craigslist ads to sex offenders:

    This is an article from The Tennessean about craigslist prostitution in their area. Nothing new that hasn’t been covered before. But once again craigslist is paying nothing but lip service to the actual problem. Once again let’s hear from craigslist’s mouthpiece Susan MacTavish Best.

    Susan MacTavish Best, a Craigslist spokeswoman, says the misuse of the site for illegal purposes is unacceptable and that a series of new measures is being undertaken to reduce the number of erotic services ads by at least 80 percent.

    “Unlike the weekly newspapers, telephone yellow pages and numerous websites large and small that make a profitable business out of ‘erotic services’ ads,” she wrote in an e-mail, “Craigslist earns no revenue whatsoever from such ads.”

    Again I say if it’s so unacceptable to craigslist why don’t they do away with the erotic services section? Personally, I think that newspapers and phone books shouldn’t be advertising for hookers either but at least with those mediums a paper trail is left if an investigation is warranted. A paper trail is a lot easier to follow than an electronic one. Out of all the times that you claim to assist law enforcement how many illegal acts on craigslist have gone unchecked? It’s almost like craigslist is proud of the fact that they help facilitate prostitution and child prostitution.

    The fact that they claim they have no responsibility in such matters is a joke.

    So Ms. Best, are you proud of what craigslist does?

  • Timeline in Brooke Bennett’s disappearance

    Details in police’s case reveal chilling, devious planning by victim’s uncle:

    This is an article from the Barre Montpelier Times Argus that details the timeline of Michael Jacques planned kidnapping of Brooke Bennett. It also shows what kind of scumbag Jacques really is.

    First Jacques was using two different online personas to communicate with an underage girl that he was abusing. The first one was simply ‘E’ and the second one was Rauel Domingo. Domingo is not a third suspect as some blogs would have you believe. One of the things he told the girl was he was hunting wild zebra in Africa. To me, that sounds like some kind of code.

    Jacques and the juvenile plotted on how to lure Bennett away.

    Jacques ordered $1,033.45 in sex toys.

    Another underage female says that she will participate in the ‘tie down’.

    Jacques emailed one of the girls asking her to collect her boyfriend’s semen in order to throw police off the trail once Brooke disappears.

    According to the report, Jacques altered Brooke’s MySpace before she was abducted.

    Ray Gagnon then logged into Brooke’s MySpace and changed the password.

    When Jacques reported that he found some of Brooke’s clothes police also found blood and semen which they now believe Jacques planted.

    Those are just some of the lowlights that Jacques and Gagnon are accused of committing.

    How elaborate this whole scheme was just sickens me and anything less than the death penalty for Jacques would be an injustice.

    In court papers, Jacques accused of falsifying Web posts:

    Yesterday when I posted about the discovery of Brooke Bennett’s body I wasn’t sure if her body was found on her uncle’s property or not. It turns out a fresh grave was discovered on a rural road just off of Michael Jacques’ property.

    Now here’s the reason I didn’t want to post Brooke Bennet’s MySpace, it was, in fact, a fake. Police say that Jacques is the one who changed Brooke’s account to make reference to how she was supposedly leaving Vermont for Texas to meet someone. Jacques even told police about the MySpace in an attempt to throw them off the track.

    By the time I post this (as I am writing it Thursday morning), Jacques may have already been charged with federal kidnapping. If also charged with federal murder Jacques could be looking at the death penalty. The feds may have jurisdiction since I believe tampering with someone’s MySpace like that in order to hide a crime may be a federal offense.

    Now on to Brooke’s former stepfather Ray Gagnon. He’s been arrested for destroying evidence. That evidence turned out to be a laptop filled with child porn. Gagnon called his landlord back in Texas and asked him to destroy the computer. Gagnon also had a hand in altering Brooke’s MySpace after speaking with Jacques. Gagnon is also looking at federal charges but as of now those charges aren’t clear but I would assume they would also be for tampering with Brooke’s MySpace.

  • Brooke Bennett’s body found

    Brooke Bennett Found Dead:

    The body of missing 12-year-old Brooke Bennett was found earlier today. The article was unclear whether her body was found near her uncle’s property or not but only says that her body was found in Randolph, Vermont, the same town where her uncle lives.

    If you’ll remember her uncle, Michael Jacques, is alleged to have been part of a child sex ring known as Breckenridge. Now details are emerging that Brooke was to be initiated into that ring.

    In an affidavit released Wednesday, federal officials said a 14-year-old girl told authorities she helped Jacques take Brooke to his Randolph home on June 25 to be initiated into a child sex ring to which he belonged.

    No word yet if her death is being treated as a homicide.

    My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to Brooke Bennett’s friends and family.

  • Nude pics of 13-year-old girl posted to MySpace

    Police caution 13yo girl over sex pictures on MySpace:

    I hate doing these stories because it draws all the pervs out of their pervy woodwork.

    Anyway, a 13-year-old girl from Australia took sexually explicit pictures of her self and sent them to her 17-year-old boyfriend. The 17-year-old is facing charges but that’s not the half of it.

    Somehow another 13-year-old girl came into possession of said explicit photos and posted them on MySpace.

    The second 13-year-old has been cautioned by authorities.

    Remember kids, no matter what your age is if you’re in possession of pictures of a person under 18 you are in possession of child porn.
