    Another Hawaii Arrest

    Another Suspected Internet Predator Nabbed:

A third sexual predator has been arrested in Hawaii while using MySpace to select his prey…

(KHNL) — It’s another frightening reminder of the dangers lurking on the internet. A Waikiki man is in police custody, accused of sexually assaulting a girl he met on-line.

It’s at least the third time in one month that Honolulu police have made this type of arrest. That’s three different men who are suspected of turning their on-line relationships, with minors, into sexual ones.

“The fact that we have three now so far this year gives us reason to be very concerned about it,” Capt. Frank Fujii, Honolulu Police Department, said.

Officers arrested Matthew Cargill Sunday. Police say the 29-year-old posed as a 16-year-old boy on MYSPACE.COM, and arranged to meet with a 15-year-old girl.

The victim told investigators the suspect sexually assaulted her in his car, near the U.H. Manoa campus. Police recovered the suspect’s car in Waikiki.

Officers arrested Cargill for investigation of two counts of first-degree sex assault, five counts of third-degree sex assault, and one count of electronic enticement of a child.

Court records indicate Cargill has prior convictions for indecent exposure, open lewdness, and harassment by stalking.

Since he was using a fake profile, I was unable to find his MySpace profile.

This should serve as a warning to that the person that they’re chatting with on MySpace may not be who they seem, and as a warning to parents about what their children may be up to online.

RHS school shoot motive, details remain under wraps:

Roseburg police investigating the shooting at Roseburg High state they have narrowed down a motive for the shooting of Joseph Monti by Vincent Leodoro. However, they’re remaining tight-lipped for now…

Roseburg police Lt. Pat Moore said this morning details of the motive cannot be released until the prosecuting entities — including the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office and the Douglas County Juvenile Department — agree to do so.

He provided a vague description of a tense relationship between the two Roseburg High School students and their social circle which is believed to have led to the early morning campus shooting.

“There haven’t been any real variations from that,” he said, adding that most rumors police have checked into have been found to be unsubstantiated.

School shooting victim in fair condition after Thursday surgery:

Meanwhile, Joseph Monti underwent surgery to remove bullet fragments near his spine and is said to be in fair condition. He has also lost some feeling and control of his left foot.

    Dunblane

254 children killed in schools since Dunblane:

Today is the 10th anniversary of the school shooting with the highest child death toll, the Dunblane massacre. For those of you not familiar with Dunblane here is a summary of the massacre from Crime Library

On March 13, 1996, Thomas Hamilton, 43, left his home at 7 Kent Road in Dunblane, Scotland, with only one thing in mind — murder. At about 9:30 a.m., he drove to the Dunblane Primary School with a pair of pliers, four handguns and more than 700 rounds of ammunition. Once there, he cut the telephone wires on a nearby pole and then proceeded with weapons in hand to a side entrance of the school.

Hamilton burst into the assembly hall, where a class of 5- and 6-year-old children was having gym lessons and opened fire. He first shot at several of the teachers. Hamilton then turned his guns on the frightened children and shot at them as they tried to scramble to safety under chairs and inside closets. Screams echoed through the gymnasium as tiny bodies sunk to the floor in pools of blood.

Hamilton momentarily stepped outside the gym into a hallway where there were other classrooms and open fired again. Several more people were struck down before Hamilton returned to the gym and began shooting again. He then put the gun into his mouth and pulled the trigger. He died instantaneously, leaving behind a ghastly trail of death and devastation.

The brutal rampage left 17 people murdered, including one teacher and 16 children. Another 17 would survive the horrifying incident but be haunted with nightmares for the rest of their lives. The sleepy, rural town was forever changed by the horrors of that day. It was considered one of the deadliest massacres in recent history.

According to the article, no service or memorial is being held as the people of Dunblane would like to forget this tragedy. Also, according to the article, 254 children have been shot in schools worldwide, including the terrorist attack in Beslan in 2004.

  • MutantSpace

    MutantSpace

While doing some research on MySpace, I came across the MySpace of a 16-year-old girl who claims to be from “Fuck, New Jersey”.

So right off the bat, I know I’m dealing with someone who has a ton of class. What also caught my eye is that her MySpace opened up with “Bang, Bang, Your Fucked. “RIP REB and VODKA 4.20.99”.

So now it’s obvious she’s just another mutant. And then there was some more ranting on her MySpace…

For those who read how I like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold I don’t care if you hate them because I like what I like deal with it. I do not also have to tell you why I am interested.

Again I ask do the parents not know or do they just not care?

  • SOME of the money from Klebold car auction to go to charity

SOME of the money from Klebold car auction to go to charity

The assclowns who are trying to make blood money by auctioning off Columbine killer Dylan Klebold’s car are stating that they are going to donate some money to the Columbine Memorial fund…

The Columbine Memorial charity is definitely 100% the one we’ll donate to. I’m thinking somewhere along the lines of 10% of the winning price, but I still have to talk it over with my buddy. I can promise at least $1000 to your charity once this thing sells.

Right now, the bidding is up to $23,000 for a 24-year-old car. Let’s assume that the bid is legit. That’s probably at least $18K in profit. I think if they make that kind of money they can afford to donate more than 10%.

    Mr. A Returns

Mr. A comes through again. Only he’s not so mysterious anymore. Mr. A has his own site that is not unlike much this one. Where I focus on the criminals, Mr. A focuses mostly on the victims. You can visit his site here.

Anyway, Mr. A has come through big time for the long coated one again. This time he sent me a cached MySpace profile of one Stephen M. Letavec, the father of two from Elrama, Pa. who molested a 14-year-old girl in his car while in Conn.

Welcome to the Rogues Gallery Steve.

  • More on the Klebold car auction

More on the Klebold car auction

Columbine BMW back up for sale:

Autoblog seems to share my opinion of the auctioning of Dylan Klebold’s BMW…

We had reservations doing another post on the sale of Dylan Klebold’s BMW because it’s such a disgusting tale, but hopefully it leads not to more bids for its purchase but more outrage that someone would use the car’s notorious history for financial gain.

After having their auction of the 1983 BMW 320i removed from eBay at the site’s insistence, the owners of the vehicle have constructed his own site for the purpose of selling the car.

The unidentified sellers insist that the car’s sale is in no way meant to trivialize the tragedy. That claim is hard to believe considering the auction will end on April 20th, the anniversary of the school shooting, and that the owners may publish a “Best of” section on their site highlighting some of the hate mail they’ve received.

Couldn’t have put it better myself.

Autoblog also has information on how the car ended up in the seller’s hands…

How did the BMW end up in the hands of such people, you may ask? Klebold’s parents donated it to Vehicles for Charity, which then sold it at auction.

Sorry for the direct copy and paste Autoblog, but the post was too good to shorten.

And last time I checked the bidding was up to $9200.00.

  • Esmie’s abuse

    Esmie’s abuse

Teenager pleads guilty in mother’s stabbing death:

This is just another story about Esmie Tseng’s plea, but I finally get to hear what kind of abuse Esmie went through…

In Esmie Tseng’s world, a test score of 96 might have gotten the 16-year-old grounded.

Her mother expected more. Always more. And when the Overland Park girl fell short, she often was punished in ‘unfair and cruel’ ways, Johnson County District Attorney Paul Morrison said Monday.

Sometimes, he said, Esmie’s mother tried to teach her a lesson by humiliating her: She made her daughter take off all her clothes.

But Esmie also was under a lot of pressure, primarily from her mother, to perform at unrealistically high levels, Morrison said. Slight transgressions often resulted in punishments such as not being able to go outside for extended periods of time, he said, or not being able to do the kinds of things that teens like to do.

“She lived in a highly structured environment,” Morrison said.

“It was not uncommon for her to be ordered to take her clothes off as a way to humiliate her, if that gives you a flavor of what was going on.”

I feel bad for Esmie. I really do. That’s not sarcasm. Mental abuse like that from a parent is one of the worst tortures that a teenager can go through. However, that abuse did not warrant the violent response that Esmie gave…

Assistant District Attorney John Fritz said that Esmie had stabbed her mother with a knife. When her mother took away the knife, Esmie grabbed another and stabbed her multiple times. Esmie did not call for help, he said.

The way Esmie’s mother treated her would have been grounds to call social services, not a multiple stabbing with two different knives.

Also, did Esmie’s father know that this treatment was going on?

Now that I know a little more about the events leading up to the murder of Shu Yi Zhang, I can offer an opinion on the sentencing.

I think the suggested eight years and four months is very reasonable for the offense and what led up to it. As I said, I feel bad for Esmie, but stabbing her mother to death was a severe over-reaction, and she needs to be punished.

She will still have much of her life ahead of her when she gets out.

    Hawaiian Arrests

Another isle man allegedly baits teen victim on MySpace:

Normally, I wouldn’t think that Hawaii would have sexual predators, but I guess they’re just like anywhere else, unfortunately…

Honolulu police have arrested a second man who allegedly solicited a sexual relationship with a teenager through the MySpace.com social-networking Web site.

The 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday during an arranged meeting with a 15-year-old Aliamanu girl at the McDonald’s at 4561 Salt Lake Blvd. Detectives later booked him under suspicion of three counts of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of third-degree sexual assault.

This is the second time within a month that Honolulu police have arrested a man who allegedly used the MySpace Web site to contact a minor for sexual purposes. Joseph Colasacco, 30, was charged last month after he was found on Feb. 12 in the bed of a 14-year-old Waialae boy whom he had met on MySpace.

In the case involving the 15-year-old girl, police said the man met the girl online in November when he contacted her through her profile at MySpace, and they later exchanged cell phone numbers. Police said they met face to face for the first time at a military installation and from there began to have a consensual sexual relationship.

The suspect did not have a home of his own and arranged meetings with the victim at his friend’s home or in his friend’s vehicle unbeknownst to the girl’s parents, police said.

Police learned of the case in January when the girl was identified as an unescorted minor by security at the front gate of the military installation. She told military investigators that she was having a sexual relationship with the man, who worked until then as a civilian employee for the Department of Defense.

As a result of the investigation, the man was barred from the base, and he has since been terminated from his job.

Police said the girl had a MySpace profile that showed her picture and indicated her age. The suspect also had a MySpace profile displaying his age when he contacted the girl, according to police.

Police said the suspect served in the military in the 1990s, then stayed in Hawaii but has no residential address.

In the Feb. 12 case, according to a police affidavit, the boy told police he had met Colasacco on three previous occasions prior to the incident. On that night, the boy said Colasacco entered his house and came into his bedroom.

The 14-year-old told police he had gone to the bathroom and that when he returned, the TV and DVD player were turned on and that Colasacco had brought him two magazines depicting nude men in sexual acts and poses along with a DVD showing men engaged in sexual acts.

The boy’s father later found the suspect in his son’s bed pretending to be asleep, according to the affidavit. Colasacco was arrested and charged with five counts of first-degree sexual assault, four counts of promoting pornography for minors, three counts of first-degree electronic enticement of a minor and one count of third-degree sexual assault. His bail was set at $20,000.

With any luck, The Goddess Pele will wreak her vengeance upon the evil men.

  • Mr. A

    Mr. A

I’ve only been doing social media crimes for 11 days, and I already have an anonymous source. I call the source Mr. A. They called themselves just “A” but I thought I would name the source after the comic book character. They could be Ms. or Mrs. A for all I know. Anyway, Mr. A a left a comment about Michael Ramos. Apparently, it’s not the first time that Mikey’s been caught trying to solicit little girls.

Thank you again, Mr. A and I hope you make more contributions in the future.
