    10/9/05 From The Mail Sack

Just one to speak of this time, and it’s from my entry on the Columbine Rampart Range Tapes

    Fan Says:

You know, i wish there is a hell, just so i can shake their hands and thank them for what they did. People are so fucked up, that they think they can mess with someone for years, and then flip out when they kill some1. That racist POS that posted is the reason things like this happen. I just wish i could have the balls to do what they did, they are my fucking hero. So if you dont like them, then dont wast your time talking bad about them

    Saturday Oct 8, 2005 @ 11:37 pm

Of course, he or she is talking about Columbine killers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold as his or her heroes.

Just think, that’s someone’s son or daughter. I wonder what those parents think their kid is up to.

  • A story of the south

    A story of the south

I love living in the south, but the locals know next to nothing about good pizza. They prefer The Hut to most anything else.

However, a few years ago, some guys from Brooklyn opened a real pizza parlor in my town. I was in there about a year ago when I was waiting in line to pick up my pizzas.

The guy behind the counter said to a female customer in front of me, “Ok, here are your pies.” The woman said “I didn’t order pies. I ordered pizza.”

I about fell over trying not to laugh in this woman’s face.

    Devin Moore Sentenced to Death

Man Gets Death for Killing Three in Ala.:

Devin Moore, the 18-year-old who was convicted of killing two police officers and a dispatcher, was sentenced to death.

If you remember, Moore’s attorneys tried blaming his actions on Grand Theft Auto. But the defense attorneys are already looking to appeal on the grounds that the video game “evidence” was excluded, and the fact that the jury was all white while Moore is black. 🙄

An all-plaid jury would have convicted him. He killed three cops. He deserves to die.

    Take that, Jack Thompson.

  • All Worthwhile

    All Worthwhile

Yesterday was not a good day in my little empire.

It seems that I went way over my bandwidth allotment in just 5 days. It turns out then when I started doing the podcasts, I left the test MP3 file on my server and forgot about it.

It was only 418kb in size. However, some unscrupulous persons, which I traced back to several IP addresses in Germany, downloaded the file repeatedly over and over and over again until it generated 13GB of bandwidth.

At that point, between trying to deal with the spammers and what was basically a denial of service attack, I was really close to packing it all in.

Then after I got all the sites up and running again, I received an e-mail from someone by the name of Mike. The subject of the e-mail was “Credit to Society” and it went a little something like this…

First off, I want to thank you for debunking and debating the rumors spread by so many medias today regarding Goths, trenchcoats, and their connection to school violence, and a crumbling society in general. I myself cannot stand labels, but am commonly given the label of “Goth”, just because I choose to wear what I like. It’s not a means of expressing angst, or hatred, or a desire to be different. I just wear what I think looks good. It’s a relief to see someone that can appreciate an opinion such as mine, and agree with it, to any extent. Granted, I know my style of dress invokes such harassment from those that consider me awkward or different, but that doesn’t make it right. Thank you so much for voicing your opinion in the face of those who disagree. you are a real credit to Freedom of Speech, and society in general. People often don’t listen to me, or my beliefs and morals, being that I’m only going on 17, and it’s great to have someone to relate to, regardless of how much older you may be, or that I’ve never met you. I want you to know, for what it’s worth, that regardless of how many people may call you a menace or scum to society for having the will to disagree with them, you’ll always have me as an avid reader and supporter. Keep on voicing your feelings, and I’ll keep reading. Thanks again, for making life that much more livable. Keep on living, my friend. =)

Mike, it is I who should be thanking you. You single-handedly restored my will to keep this site up and running for a long time.

    A challenge answered…sort of

Yesterday, I posted a challenge to the mutants to stop operating in secrecy. Well, someone responded to my challenge but, as usual, it was behind a locked message board. Luckily, one of my readers tipped me off to it. Our favorite mutant WMD had this to say…

Over in the trenches of the Trenchcoat Chronicles, there is a thread named https://thetrenchcoat.com/2005/10/04/why-so-secret/ Don’t bother answering. Trench allows people like jim to cast insults to his heart’s content while banishing others, myself included, for expressing opinions counter to his own. If he wants to read and post here, let him register like everyone else.

Then the moderator by the not so original “goth” name of Ms. Bathory had this to say…

If I found Trench on here I would instantly get rid *spits*

So much for open discussion. You know I have no problem with goths, but if you’re going to pick a screen name, pick one that 50,000 others aren’t using.

Then another moderator by the name of Jennifer had this to say…

    OMG

A GIRL TODAY HAD ON AN AWESOME BLACK TRENCHCOAT!

    Um…yeah.

You know what? Now that I think about it, stay in secrecy. At least that way you won’t infect anyone else with your inanity.

  • Why so secret?

    Why so secret?

Wanted to bid a hearty welcome to all the mutants coming over from one of the mutant message boards.

And just like your heroes, you’re being cowards by hiding behind a locked message board. Which makes me realize most message boards, blogs, and journals that are run by mutants are usually locked to the outside world. Why all the secrecy?

Are you ashamed of whatever you’re posting? Afraid of dissenting opinion? I mean, all my posts are open. I’m not afraid of dissenting opinion.

But Trench, you ban people from your site all the time. True, but those people are 3 McNuggets short of a Happy Meal and don’t offer anything to the conversation, let alone society.

So why don’t you stop operating in the shadows like the mutants you are?

Come out into the light. You just may like it.

  • Dr Broom’s Party House

    Dr Broom’s Party House

Playboy names McGill as a Top 10 Party School:

How’s this for timing? McGill University has been named the only Canadian University in Playboy Magazine’s Top 10 Party Schools.

In case you’ve forgotten, McGill University is in the middle of a hazing scandal where a rookie football player has accused veteran players of anally probing him with a broom handle in a ritual known as “Dr. Broom”.

I never knew that sexual sadism was one of Playboy’s requirements for a party school.

  • Lewerke to remain in adult court

Lewerke to remain in adult court

James Lewerke to remain in adult court:

James Lewerke, the Indiana teen accused of slashing 7 of his classmates with a machete, will have his case remain in adult court.

Attorneys representing Lewerke motioned to have his case moved back to juvenile court after a judge ruled that he will be tried as an adult back in May. Previously, Lewerke has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys will be using an insanity defense.

As I mentioned before, I think he actually was insane at the time of the attack, and I think in this case he actually does need psychiatric help.

However, I think he should be tried as an adult because of the viciousness of his attack and if he were to be tried as a juvenile he might be released before any treatment could be completed.

    Esmie Tseng Still Blogging

Once again I’m late to the party, but hey I run three websites, so sue me.

Anyway, it appears that Esmie Tseng is still updating her LiveJournal through a friend of hers on the outside. Here is a copy of her friends only entry dated 9/2/05…

    Hey, Kids—
Missing you all lots. If you could, Lex, pass this on to the rest of the BVN masses…

How much drama am I missing out on? If at all possible, fill me in a little…

The basics are here. Food is great—the JDC is sure to keep our appetites filled to the top.

A substitute for love? Humans are simple creatures…am I wrong?

Walls are so bare. No color here, and you know I love those colors…

The staff is pretty cool. Like mommies and daddies. I’m at a sleep over. I get my own room.

The nice thing is that there is such a variety of people. I can hear and feel the heart and soul, and I just want to grab each one for a typical philosophical discussion.

Court is September 13, 2005. There are so many weird and basic restrictions here. Toilet paper, lights, individual voice are all so oppressed…

I have never been one to complain but it’s almost as though we’re considered less human in the bland walls of the JDC. Humans need to feel to accomplish any of their potential, and if taking that away/limiting that right is called justice, then…? I don’t understand how one can ever assert that what we call punishment is as productive as society has so strongly established.

Do we become better people after a sentence? How many of us truly learn from our mistakes? Can we really justify assigning the same punishment to two different offenders, so easily and obviously different in history, mindset, loves, habits, intelligence, physique, hindsight, reasoning, Etc.?

I just don’t understand how society has so easily dumped on its own. All of which are so unique and deserving of any opportunity in such a vast world into such a blue and basic bucket? It seems redemption is an aspect impossible to achieve, no matter which end of the spectrum of extremity that the crime is on. We all have such varying degrees of motive and passion and such, but it just seems that diversity has been ignored.

I hope I’m blind and only have seen some of this world’s existence. I hope.

    <3 Esmie

This does not sound like someone who either stabbed their mom to death or someone who is incarcerated. Not that I’m a professional or anything, but this seems very sociopathic to me.

Nod to The Cellar for the tip.

  • Eric Schorling Update

    Eric Schorling Update

Prosecutors doubt they’ll need witness in stabbing trial:

Just some news in the case of Eric Schorling.

To refresh your memories, Eric Schorling bragged to people that he was going to stab his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Lambert. He then stabbed Nicole in the back in the halls of Romeo High School, barely missing her heart. He then bragged to people afterward that he stabbed Nicole.

He had made a plea to serve six months, but then nullified that plea by escaping from Macomb County Juvenile Justice Center and telling people that he was going to finish the job he started. So not only is he a psychopath, he’s also a dumbass.

Anyway, the article states that they could use fellow escapee Ronnie Lewis Gabrail’s testimony, but probably won’t…

“If you’ve got a quarterback that can throw long and connect on the very first play, why would you take 15 plays on handoffs and short runs and risk making mistakes on the field to gain the same yards?” Kaplan explained by way of analogy. “The case was very strong already, without Ronnie Gabrail, and using him might add risk.”

And here’s the testimony he could provide…

Prior to and during the brief escape, Gabrail has said Schorling told him he’d get back to Romeo and “finish off the bitch” or “finish what I started” — a sort of indirect admission that he had stabbed Lambert before. But Kaplan said the evidence value of that statement is minimal for the stabbing trial since Schorling also made incriminating statements to other Romeo High School students.

And some people actually think Schorling needs “help” and not jail. The only help he needs is help getting into the prison van for a long, long stay courtesy of the State of Michigan.
