  • LGBT groups want shooter tried as juvenile

LGBT Groups: Try Lawrence King’s Killer as a Juvenile:

According to the article, 27 LGBT groups have issued a statement that said they would like to see Brandon McInerney tried as a juvenile. 14-year-old McInerney is accused of gunning down Lawrence King in cold blood at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard, California. King was an openly gay student at the school. He often got back at his tormentors, including McInerney, by mockingly flirting with them.

    From the statement…

“We are issuing this joint statement because we believe so strongly in principles of justice that protect all our young people and know that, even in the face of strong emotions, we should not abandon them.

“We refuse to let our sense of outrage blind us to the fact that the suspect is only 14 years old.”

By now you should know my feelings on trying murderers as juveniles so I’ll refrain from ranting.

However I know I have some readers that are L’s at least one B and maybe a G, hell I might even have a T. I’d like to know do these activist groups speak for you or do you think that McInerney should be tried as an adult?

  • Draper’s reduced sentence request denied

Convicted Teen Killer Tried to Have Sentence Reduced:

When Torey Adamcik had his reduced sentence request denied in the murder of Cassie Jo Stoddart I knew his cohort would have his request denied too.

Brian Draper tried to get his life without parole sentence changed to where he would be eligible for parole in 25 years. That request was denied with extreme prejudice…

In the end, Judge McDermott said Brian Draper can live – Cassie can’t. He went on to say she had the worst punishment compared to the teens.

    Bravo. Justice for once.

  • Andrew Golden found

Attorney Finds Andrew Golden, One Of Jonesboro School Shooters:

Andrew Golden, the other Jonesboro gunman, has been tracked down by a lawyer representing the victims’ families.

The article doesn’t say where Johnson was but that he was found and subpoenaed in the lawsuit against him and Mitchell Johnson.

If you’ll recall Mitchell Johnson gave his deposition prior to his recent troubles with the law. In that deposition, he laid the blame entirely on Golden.

  • More Dr. Phil fallout

Report: Dr. Phil Show Blames Low-Level Staffer for Bailing Out YouTube Teen:

Dr. Phil and his show keep digging themselves into a deeper hole.

They’re putting all the blame on an unnamed low-level staff member for bailing out Mercades Nichols…

“In this case, certain staff members went beyond our guidelines [re: the bail being paid]. These staff members have been spoken to and our policies reiterated. In addition, we have decided not to go forward with the story as our guidelines have been compromised,” the statement read.

Among the skeptics, outside of myself, is TMZ, the infamous gossip website.

The show issued a statement saying certain staff members “went beyond their guidelines,” but according to TMZ, the word at Paramount is that it would be impossible for the producer to pay the $3,300 for the bail and put up $33,000 in collateral without the full knowledge and approval of higher-ups on the show.

Does anyone actually believe Dr. Phil in this case? I think what little credibility he had has taken a big hit. She’d be better off if he just came clean.

  • More arrests coming in Dunbar Village case

More arrests sought in Dunbar Village gang rape case:

Police have asked the State Attorney’s Office to issue arrest warrants for two more juveniles in the notorious Dunbar Village rape case, where a mother and son were brutalized for hours, West Palm Beach police said Friday.

One of the four teens arrested, Jakaris Taylor, accepted a plea deal that required his testimony. He identified two other juvenile defendants and police filed the charges with the State Attorney’s Office.

Hopefully, those arrest warrants will be issued and all scumbags involved will be brought to justice.

  • Underwood gets death

    Judge sentences Underwood to die:

The convicted killer of 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin has been officially sentenced to death. A jury had recommended the death penalty for Kevin Ray Underwood bit today a judge made it official.

Underwood killed and raped Jamie Rose Bolin, unfortunately in that order, in order to consume her flesh because of a cannibalistic fantasy he had.

The death penalty couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

  • Hostage taker wants his life back

When the bullied becomes the bully: What made Mesa teen snap?:

It’s been almost a year since I’ve posted anything about Brent Clark. He’s the kid from Powell Junior High in Mesa, AZ who took a 14-year-old girl hostage at knifepoint. She’s been mentally scarred but we’re supposed to feel sorry for him because he was allegedly bullied?

“I’m not a bad kid. I just lost it,” he said. “I just want my old life back.”

He said he was the victim of nine long months of bullying.

“I was suffering continuous bullying from a kid. Every once in a while he would say, ‘Sir, yes, Sir,’ because I was in the young marines and it really bothered me.”

So if you really were bullied and ‘snapped’ as so many people have claimed why did you follow this girl from the school to her apartment complex? That doesn’t sound like snapping to me. That sounds rather methodical. And again why pick a victim that had nothing to do with your alleged bullying?

The school denies that Clark reported any bullying but his mom sticks up for him…

“He was screaming for help,” said his mom, Denette Reid.

“I never thought to address the issue before this happened. My feeling is that if my child has to go to a school, the adults there have a responsibility to him that he feel safe,” said Reid.

“I don’t think my son is a martyr, ” Reid said. “I do know that taking his entire future away isn’t right. And that’s not opinion. That’s fact. It’s not right.”

This is why bullying runs even more rampant in schools then it ever has. Parents are not willing to take responsibility when their kids are criminals. They’ve been taught that no matter what they do they’re never wrong.

  • Zarate has no mental defect says prosecutor

Prosecutor: Accused Randolph killer not impaired:

Morris County, NJ assistant prosecutor Robert Lane told a judge Tuesday that accused killer Jonathan Zarate bragged to other inmates that he wasn’t mentally diminished when he killed and dismembered his 16-year-old neighbor Jennifer Parks. This should come as a surprise to absolutely no one.

It seems that Zarate has a new lawyer as well. Richard S. Mazawey replaces Anthony Fusco as Zarate’s attorney. No reason was given why Fusco is no longer his attorney. Mazawey plans to use the same diminished capacity defense that Fusco was pursuing.

  • Sharpton earns the wrath of bloggers that matter

Women not tolerating Sharpton’s rape rant:

It seems that I’m not the only one who found Al Sharpton’s comments in the Dunbar Village rape suspects distasteful.

It seems that Sharpton has also gotten on the bad side of a group of black female bloggers.

“Sharpton bills himself as a spokesman for the voiceless,” wrote Tonyaa Weathersbee in BlackAmericaWeb.com “Too bad this time he decided to lend his voice to the ones who needed it the least – and guarantee that more raped black women will continue to suffer in silence.”

Remember, Al Sharpton thinks it’s a disgrace that basically a gang who raped a woman and forced her to have sex with her 12-year-old son should be out on bail because some white teens from Boca Raton that raped two girls after getting them drunk are out.

“Am I the only one that sees some GLARING DISTINCTIONS in these two cases that have absolutely nothing to do with the race of the defendants or am I missing something?” wrote blogger Arlene Fenton.

Fenton organized a letter-writing campaign against the local NAACP, Sharpton and his National Action Network for using the west Boca case to make victims of the Dunbar Village teenagers.

“It is breathtaking that the National Action Network brain trust can’t seem to comprehend the difference between a home invasion by masked gunmen who torture, rape, sodomize, cut, burn, and beat their victims for THREE HOURS and culminate the event with crime against nature committed against a 12-year-old child … and a case involving NONE of those facts,” Fenton wrote.

Of course, being the politician that he is Sharpton is backpedaling…

Sharpton, who spoke with Fenton and Weathersbee on his radio show this week, now claims he never wanted the Dunbar rape suspects to be free pending trial.

Well, at least some bloggers got to Sharpton even if it wasn’t this northern white boy. Ladies, you have my sincere thanks.

  • Mumia escapes death again

No death for Mumia Abu-Jamal — at least for now:

When I first saw the headline I was angry. Convicted cop killing scumbag Mumia Abu Jamal, birth name Wesley Cook, has been spared the death penalty again. Back in 2001, Abu-Jamal’s death sentence was overturned by U.S. District Judge William H. Yohn Jr. because Yohn felt that the 1982 jury that convicted Abu-Jamal…

…may have mistakenly believed it had to agree unanimously on any “mitigating” circumstances — factors that might have persuaded jurors to decide on a life sentence instead of death.

Because you know he was there at the time. Oh wait, no he wasn’t.

Anyway, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit upheld Yohn’s decision. While I’m greatly disappointed that the Third Circuit didn’t reinstate Abu-Jamal’s death sentence I’m happy that the Free Mumia crowd is looking at this as a huge defeat since they think he’s innocent.

Not only that but like the headline says this isn’t over. Even though I think Abu-Jamal will be dead of natural causes before he actually sees the needle.

And if he gets commuted to a life sentence I actually don’t have much of a problem with that anymore. That is if they put him into the general population. How many two-bit thugs do you think would be gunning for one of the most infamous inmates in the country?

Hopefully, Tony Allen who is more knowledgeable about this particular scumbag will have more insight soon.

And remember kids, if you see anyone holding or displaying a Free Mumia sign don’t forget to ask them for your free Mumia.
