  • McCombs says Brown not part of murder

Fort Bend girl’s killer tells court he acted alone:

The convicted killer of 16-year-old Ashton Glover testified in court that his cohort had nothing to do with her murder. You should remember Matt McCombs. He’s the teen that confessed to shooting Ashton in the head because of ‘morbid curiosity. Now he’s saying that his partner, Sean Huston Brown, had no part in the actual murder.

He testified that codefendant Sean Brown had no idea he was going to kill anyone.

Prosecutor Sherry Robinson asked McCombs if he and Brown had ever talked about killing anyone.

McCombs, 19, answered,”No, ma’am.” This was the first time he had publicly commented about the night he fatally shot Glover, a classmate at Clements High School.

“(Brown) was about 150 to 200 feet in front of me. I pulled the pistol from my waistband and fired at Ashton Glover, who was about 25 feet from me,” McCombs said.

“It had nothing to do with Ashton. In fact, Ashton has always been nice to me and I do not have anything against her. It just happened to be her that was there when I decided to see what it would be like to kill someone,” McCombs said in his statement.

That still doesn’t change the fact that Brown allegedly helped McCombs hide her body after McCombs and Brown went out to eat after McCombs killed Ashton. It also doesn’t change the fact that he fled from police trying to escape to Canada along with McCombs.

He may not have had a hand in her murder but it sounds like Brown is guilty of being an accessory after the fact. At any time he could have gone to the police to turn McCombs in. Instead, he acted like a coward and helped try to cover up his friend’s act of murder.

  • Mitchell Johnson Wal-Mart threat just a rumor

Wal-Mart says holiday crowds, not threats, reason for police:

I received an e-mail the other day from a nice reader from Fayetteville, Arkansas who said she received an e-mail stating that Wal-Mart was increasing its security because Jonesboro gunman Mitchell Johnson was planning an attack on the store. It was alleged in the e-mail that Johnson was recently fired from there and that his girlfriend left him.

I said to the reader that I doubt Johnson was planning anything because after his New Years Day arrest on weapons charges I would think that local law enforcement and the feds are probably keeping a close eye on him.

Now, this article confirms it that Wally World just requested additional security for the Christmas season.

Police Sgt. Matt Partain confirmed that Johnson was formerly employed by the store but was terminated months ago. He further confirmed that Johnson’s girlfriend is a current Wal-Mart employee.

“Yes his girlfriend works there, but we haven’t even seen him there since we’ve been there,” he said.

Partain said Johnson is not believed to have had any involvement in a recent bomb threat at the Wal-Mart in north Fayetteville.

So the people of Fayetteville have nothing to fear at Wal-Mart except the usual, other Wal-Mart shoppers.

  • Dillon Cossey’s mom held for trial

Mother of Plymouth Whitemarsh High youth held for trial:

Michele Cossey, the mother of would be school shooter Dillon Cossey, has been ordered to stand trial on charges of unlawful transfer of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a minor, and child endangerment. If you recall it was revealed after Dillon Cossey was arrested that his mother was the one who bought the firearms for the 14-year-old.

Dillon Cossey came to the attention of police on Oct. 10 after a friend told authorities the teen planned a Columbine-like assault on Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. Cossey, who is in the custody of juvenile authorities, admitting the plot and said his mother bought him the weapons, which led to charges against his mother.

This is the first case that I can recollect where a parent is being charged in connection with a school shooting plot.

  • Matthew Murray: Full Blown Mutant

Killer posted Web links to Columbine videos:

I’m officially going to declare cowardly scumbag church shooter Matthew Murray a mutant. It seems he took a page out of the Cho Seung-Hui handbook and posted links to pro-Columbine videos from YouTube between shootings.

Eleven messages posted between Sunday’s attacks by “nghtmrchld26” spoke of abuse at the hands of Christians, of leaving this nightmare behind to a better place, and quoted liberally from the hate-filled screeds of Columbine High School killer Eric Harris.

Two of the posts also included links to videos featuring Harris and fellow Columbine killer Dylan Klebold that are posted on the Web site YouTube.com.

One five-minute video features still images of Harris and Klebold as well as actors who played them in a movie about the April 20, 1999, attack on the high school. As the pictures flick through in slide show fashion, the song Anarchy from the band KMFDM plays.

A poster for KMFDM hung on the wall in Harris’ bedroom the day of the Columbine killings.

Another message has a link to a video called Hitmen for Hire – a project Harris and Klebold did for a marketing class. In the video, they pose as hit men who get even with students who bully others.

He also posted a link to a video about Ricky Rodriguez who was allegedly abused in a cult before stabbing and killing a big wig in the church before killing himself.

Apparently, Murray thought he was abused by his strict religious upbringing. Do you know how he was abused? He wasn’t allowed to listen to rock music or play video games or stuff like that.

On another website, a poster named nghtmrchld26, believed by police to be Murray, said he rebelled against an upbringing that forbade him from buying rock music, video games and popular DVDs.

He writes that he felt oppressed by the restrictions. The hypocrisy of religious leaders, he wrote, prompted him to rebel, although he feared “returning back to what is at least ‘familiar,’ into a system I at least know how to behave in.’ “

And here’s some more mutant activity from the same article…

DyingChild_65 did not feel loved. He wrote that he was angered by being rejected by various groups over the years.

“I hate you people for leaving me out of so many fun things,” one post said. “Never inviting me to all your fun parties, never inviting me to hang out.”

As I’ve posted before he’s not even an original mutant. Those are the exact words of his cowardly scumbag hero Eric Harris.

DyingChild_65 ends his rant by saying: “Like Cho, Eric Harris, Ricky Rodriguez and others, I’m going out to make a stand for the weak and the defenseless this is for all those young people still caught in the Nightmare of Christianity for all those people who’ve been abused and mistreated and taken advantage of by this evil sick religion Christian America this is YOUR Columbine.”

If he hated the Christian life so much why was he still living with his folks at 24? I’ll tell you why. Because just like his heroes Cho and Harris he’s a loser. Matthew Murray, you’re not famous, you’re not great, you’re not a martyr. You’re just another name to add to the pantheon of cowards that preceded you. The only thing you’ll be remembered for is making the flames of hell burn a little more yellow.

  • Church shooting mutant?

Web posting replicates Columbine shooter’s manifesto:

If you’ve been following the church shootings in Colorado you know that the gunman, Matthew Murray, posted violent anti-Christian diatribes on a website that’s dedicated to people who’ve left the evangelical life. He also copied almost word for word one of Eric Harris’ rants and posted it.

I’m coming for EVERYONE soon and I WILL be armed to the @#%$ teeth and I WILL shoot to kill. ….God, I can’t wait till I can kill you people. Feel no remorse, no sense of shame, I don’t care if I live or die in the shoot-out. All I want to do is kill and injure as many of you … as I can especially Christians who are to blame for most of the problems in the world.

Well all you people out there can just kiss my (expletive removed) and die. From now on I don’t give a @#%$ about what all you (expletive removed) have to say, unless I respect you which is highly unlikely, but for those of you who do happen to know me and know that I respect you, may peace be with you and don’t be in my line of fire, for the rest of you, you all better @#%$ hide in your houses because I’m coming for EVERYONE soon, and I WILL be armed to the @#%$ teeth, and I WILL shoot to kill and I WILL @#%$ KILL EVERYTHING! No I am not crazy, crazy is just a word, to me it has no meaning, everyone is different, but most of you @#%$ heads out there in society, going to your everyday @#%$ jobs and doing your everyday routine (expletive removed) things, I say @#%$ you and die, if you got a problem with my thoughts, come to me and I’ll kill you, because……..God (expletive removed), DEAD PEOPLE DON’T ARGUE! My belief is that if I say something, it goes. I am the law. If you don’t like it, you die. If I don’t like you or I don’t like what you want me to do, then you die. If I do something incorrect, oh @#%$ well, you die. Dead people can’t do many things, like argue, whine, @#%$, complain, name, rat out, criticize, or even @#%$ talk. So that’s the only way to solve arguments with all you (expletive removed) out there, I just kill. God I can’t wait till I can kill you people, I’ll just go to some downtown area in some big city and blow up and shoot everything I can.

So far that’s his only mutant tendency, well that and taking the coward’s way out. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a full-blown mutant.

  • Threats close NIU

    Threat Closes Illinois University:

Writing threatening graffiti in the school bathroom isn’t just for middle school kids anymore. Now college students are getting into the act.

Two threats found in women’s rooms of Northern Illinois University caused classes to be canceled today.

One said The VA tech shooters messed up with having only one shooter. Another message mentioned Monday’s date and said things will change most hastily at NIU.

The threats included a racial slur.

I wonder if it had anything to do with this?

NIU President John Peters canceled exams Monday.

For whatever reason, I hope they find the lugnut that did this and lock him/her in a cell until next semester ends at least.

  • Asa Coon was sober

SuccessTech shooter was sober during attack:

According to Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office, Asa Coon had no drugs or alcohol when he went on his shooting spree at SuccessTech Academy in Cleveland, Ohio.

I didn’t know this was an issue since I’ve never heard of a drunk or stoned school shooter.

  • Dixie Chick supports West Memphis 3

Dixie Chicks Start Defense Fund for Murderers:

Another celebrity has fallen under the spell of the West Memphis 3 propaganda machine but this one isn’t too surprising. Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks is CONVINCED that the WM3 are innocent after seeing the documentaries on them. The sure sign that your cause is doomed is when Natalie Maines signs on. Maines has started a defense fund for the WM3. Like they needed another one because the ones they’ve had so far have worked out really well for them.

    Here’s her heartfelt plea…

“I’m writing this letter today because I believe that three men have spent the past 13 years in prison for crimes they didn’t commit,” Maines’ message begins.

“On May 5, 1993 in West Memphis, Ark., three 8-year-old boys, Steve Branch, Christopher Byers, and Michael Moore were murdered.

“Three teenage boys, Damien Echols, Jesse Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin were convicted of the murders in 1994. Jason Baldwin and Jesse Misskelley received life sentences without parole, and Damien Echols sits on death row.

“I encourage everyone to see the HBO documentaries, ‘Paradise Lost’ and ‘Paradise Lost 2’ for the whole history of the case.”

So she sees two movies that have an obvious agenda and she’s convinced the three are innocent. Whatever. Ringing celebrity endorsements haven’t done squat for the WM3 yet. This one won’t either.

  • Plea reached in Dunbar Village rape case

Dunbar rape suspect pleads guilty, gets 20 years:

Well, I knew it was only a matter of time before one of the suspects in the horrendous Dunbar Village gang rape case would turn on his homeboys.

16-year-old Jakaris Taylor pleaded guilty to charges of burglary and two counts of armed sexual battery. To refresh your memory Taylor and his cohorts are accused of storming the apartment of a woman and her son, gang-raped the woman and forced her to have sex with her son.

In the plea, Taylor was sentenced to 20 years behind bars sparing him three consecutive life sentences. Part of the plea requires him to testify against the other suspects.

  • Not bullying but parenting

Commentary – It isn’t bullying, stupid, it’s the parenting:

Here we have another editorial about school shooters and would be shooters that pretty much says the same thing that I’ve been saying for years. The post mainly focuses on would be shooter Dillon Cossey

His parents supplied him with real weapons — though no ammo — to match his fantasies: His bedroom contained a .9 mm semiautomatic rifle, homemade grenades, knives and swords. He also had a swastika flag, neo-Nazi literature and a Columbine massacre video.

Classmates would have rejected Cossey, if he’d stayed in school. They would have told Dillon he’s crazy, which would have been useful feedback. Instead, he was nurtured, accepted and loved by the world’s dopiest parents.

While I fully support homeschooling, not every parent is capable of carrying it out. Such is the case of the Cosseys.

And as I’ve been saying for many years lax parenting is the biggest cause of school shootings and not bullying. When parents teach their kids about some fantasy world where life is fair and allow their kids to continue to have obsessions with other killers and allow it to remain unchecked these shootings will keep happening.
