Eight Dead In Red Lake School Shooting

A student from Red Lake High School on the Red Lake Indian Reservation has shot and killed his grandparents, then carried on his shooting spree at the high school, killing 4 other students, a teacher, and a security guard before turning the gun on himself. 14 to 15 more students were injured. No motives were given at this time. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to all the victims and their friends and families.

More on this as information becomes available.

Hey kids. Let’s do something we haven’t done in a long time. Catch up on my hate mail. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

Big surprise here. Our first one is from my entry on the Eric Harris journal

i believe what they did was magnificent! To pay back the world for all the injustices you went through your entire life, it would be a rewarding experience to lash out like Eric and Dylan did. I admire them for doing something i could never do. But the only mistake they made was killing themselves, now they dont get to see the impact that they made on the world.

    Comment by unknown — Tuesday Mar 8, 2005 @ 10:49 pm

First off, you’re on AOL, so I can already tell you have diminished mental capacity. Secondly, what impact did they make? If anything, I’m sure it wasn’t the impact they were looking for. If schools were ever to take a serious look at bullying, it stopped the day they pulled the trigger. Now, instead of worrying about bullying, schools are more focused on kids bringing weapons to schools. You have them to thank for ridiculous zero-tolerance policies while bullying still continues. Good job there.

This next one was a response to another comment on my entry about the Eric Harris worship site

Shadi Ghazanfari you fucken idiot god, jesus and all that shit doesnt even exist. eople that believe in religion are fools dylan and eric are asleep now feeling and thinking nothing, they are not burning in hell recieving daily punishment from satan or whatever crap you believe in. Grow a brain and give religion the kick, its a fucking pile of lies…be an atheist today all you theists!! Start to think with your head !! Besides to all the catholics and christians and so forth why would you want to even worship a stinking jew is beyond me.

    Comment by despair — Thursday Mar 10, 2005 @ 1:02 am

Because atheism is so cool these days. Sorry, I’d rather have the promise of life after this one. Besides, you’re not really an atheist. You’re obviously just a lowlife anti-Semitic scumbag. And yes, Harris and Klebold continue to burn in Hell.

This next one is from our favorite underground rap “artist” Mutant Rabbit

I have a fan base of around 10,000 kids nationwide.

You have four losers who agree with you.

I love this site! Reminds me who we’re fighting against!

-A coward dies a thousand deaths, a hero dies but once.

Eric and Dylan died fighting oppression.

You die a little every day you have to look in the mirror and see you’re half the man they were. You’ve accomplished nothing; played some video games, jerked off under your bed sheets, worked a dead end job. The highlight of your year was beating Halo 2.

    Where is your legacy?

    Comment by Dead Rabbit — Thursday Mar 10, 2005 @ 3:38 am

I could list all my accomplishments, too, but I don’t answer to mutants. I just wanted to address one of your points. Harris and Klebold did not die fighting oppression, as you put it? Who the fuck were they oppressed by? They were two spoiled suburban white kids. I’m really sure the man was keeping them down. You’re right about one thing, though. A coward does die a thousand deaths. And if we judge it on the degree of cowardice, then Harris and Klebold will be dying infinite deaths.

    Coaches Fired Over Hazing Scandal:

This is a follow-up to the Donna, Texas hazing scandal I previously told you about where once again high school athletes sexually assaulted a younger teammate.

Now it turns out that three coaches have been fired over the incident. What makes matters worse is that this may not have been an isolated incident…

In all eight underclassmen have come forward making similar claims of being assaulted.

Sources tell Action 4 News the locker room may not have been the only place where freshmen boys were attacked.

Officers are now looking into an overnight baseball trip where some students may have allegedly been sexually assaulted.

Could we have another Mepham on our hands? It’s entirely possible.

What gets me, though is, in what universe do these kids think it’s ok to insert something into another kid’s ass? And why do coaches continue to try and cover it up? All in the name of a game.

I still have yet to have any athlete or coach or parent come forward and defend this kind of behavior.

And to the kids who perpetrated this, I hope it was worth ruining your lives over.

Mail time again. This one is from the entry I did about Panzerfaust Records collapsing under the weight of their own hate

Fuck all of you. One day all of you will be whipped to death by your white brothers because you chose to sell your own race out. Fuck all other races! White fucking Power! Sieg Hiel!

    Yours in White,

    Who?

    Comment by john matthews — Sunday Mar 6, 2005 @ 6:57 pm

It’s hard to believe that people like this still exist. Especially if you consider that the heroes of racists are always on the losing side of things. Think about it. The Confederacy, Nazi Germany, Apartheid, all losers. That should really be their slogan. “Racists: Supporting losers for almost 150 years.”

This is a great interview with the god of all things metal, Ronnie James Dio. He talks about the possibility of Magica II and the next Hear ‘N Aid. Be careful, though. Some of the other things on the site are not safe for work (NSFW). So if you’re in the comfort of your own home, then go there now, heathen dogs.

    All hail his name m/

Let’s take care of some mail, shall we? From now on, I’m not going to be responding to every mutant that leaves a misguided comment. From now on, I’ll only be responding to ones that catch my eye somehow.

    ERIC AND DYLAN WERE GODS!!!

    Comment by BEG — Sunday Mar 6, 2005 @ 2:49 pm

First off, what’s with a lot of the mutants using acronyms instead of names. I have no idea what BEG could even possibly stand for. Badger Eye Glue? Secondly, of course, the comment traced back to an AOL user. What’s the old joke? Almost Online? And lastly, Harris and Klebold can’t be gods for one simple fact. Gods don’t burn in hell.

Details Of “Story” Written By Teen Charged With Terroristic Threatening Read In Court:

This is a follow-up to the story about the kid in Kentucky who was arrested for writing a story about Zombies that take over the school, or so the legend goes. Turns out he was …*gasp*…lying. There were NO zombies in the story, and it was not for an English class assignment like originally claimed. And the clincher?

Police say they’ve interviewed seven George Rogers Clark High School students who say Poole tried to recruit them into his group.

While I take no delight in the fact that this kid more than likely was plotting against his school, I have two words for all the people who were whining about creativity in schools being quashed…

    Return of the Mutant Rabbit

Not too long ago, I did an entry about how the New York mall shooter who was allegedly partially inspired by a rapper who promotes violence against the “ruling class” by the name of Dead Rabbit. Mr. Rabbit claimed that he was saddened that innocent people were hurt. I said, “yeah right” and said that Mr. Rabbit is using this tragedy to further his own career. Then I asked if he would have changed his tune if people had died in the incident. Well, I received a response from someone claiming to be Mr. Rabbit…

No, I wouldn’t have changed my tune if somebody died. It still would have went something like this. “do doo do dooe wop”

See, some people can accomplish more in life than learning a little html, getting some fellow geeks to comment on “news items” and calling it a collective.

I only regret that you took the noble symbol of the Columbine uprising, the trenchcoat, and turned it into a coward’s cape

Student Arrested For Terroristic Threatening Says Incident A Misunderstanding:

I was actually going to pass on this story, but I got a request from new reader Alyric. And I am nothing without my readers. So on with the show…

What happened is a high school kid in Kentucky was arrested for making terroristic threats against students, teachers, and police. He says that it’s all a big misunderstanding and that the writings that were found that the charges were based on were a work of fiction about zombies…

“My story is based on fiction,” said Poole, who faces a second-degree felony terrorist threatening charge. “It’s a fake story. I made it up. I’ve been working on one of my short stories, (and) the short story they found was about zombies. Yes, it did say a high school. It was about a high school over ran by zombies.”

On the surface, it seems like the local police may have over-reacted. But hold on one second there. The police state something different altogether…

The arrest came after a tip from a family member that Pool was trying to “recruit a gang to take over the school,” Detective Berl Perdue said.

“He didn’t have a gang, but he was attempting to organize one,” Perdue said.

Police said writings in which Poole tried to persuade other students to take part in the takeover were found.

    Sarcasmo put it best…

I should say – in all fairness – I have not read the story in question – and it may be that he has, in fact, written a story that is obviously about his attacking his classmates and teachers using a complex metaphor system a la Animal Farm – or by changing the name of “Mr. Smith, the English teacher” to “Mr. Smoth, the English teacher” – but that’s not the feeling I got from the news story.

So without reading the actual writings, I cannot honestly give an opinion one way or the other on this. However, in too many instances where kids have been arrested in plotting to bomb or shoot their school, they claim it was just fantasy and that’s usually after the weapons and explosives have been found. I’d rather err on the side of caution than end up with a bloodbath.

  • Responsibility is Unconstitutional

    Responsibility is Unconstitutional

High court: Juvenile death penalty unconstitutional:

In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled today that executing 16 and 17-year-olds is unconstitutional. Executions for those 15 and younger had been previously outlawed. Justice Anthony Kennedy, writing for the majority, said…

“Our society views juveniles … as categorically less culpable than the average criminal,” Kennedy wrote.

With all due respect to Justice Kennedy, this is a load of crap. In which society are 16 and 17-year-olds viewed as less culpable? So what you’re telling me is that if Dylan Klebold had lived (Eric Harris was 18 at the time) after Columbine that he would not deserve the death penalty because somehow in your mind he’s “less culpable”?

This sends out one of the worst messages possible. “Hey, kids, go out and kill all you want. You’re less culpable than the average criminal

    Personal responsibility dies another death.

UPDATE: Ogre has a take on this as well.
