Pal: Teen who shot principal was abused:

The sob stories about Eric Hainstock continue…

Officials did nothing to stop students from teasing Eric Hainstock despite complaints, a friend testified Wednesday at a hearing to determine whether adult charges should stand in the shooting death of the teenagers’ school principal.

Other kids called Hainstock names and pushed and punched him for being messy and smelling bad, said Morgan Gudenschwager, a 15-year-old eighth-grader who described himself as Hainstock’s best friend. Hainstock, who could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted on adult charges, told Gudenschwager his parents wouldn’t let him shower at home.

But under cross-examination, Gudenschwager said Hainstock talked “once in a while” about how he hated Klang, even though Klang bought him clothes and let him shower at school so he wouldn’t smell. He also said Hainstock often instigated confrontations with other students and dished out his share of bullying.

And what did John Klang get for his charity? A bullet that cost him his life.

Hainstock is an obvious danger and should never see the light of day. Hell, prison would probably be like a vacation for him. At least he’ll get meals and showers.

    I love it when people like you make light about his life of abuse. The reason why he hated Klang is obvious though. Klang knew he was being abused, and did nothing about it. You have yet to say how he thinked and acted like an adult. Hell you have yet to say how a sped kid can think and act like an adult.

    Yes but it does diminish his maturity (which you don’t even think he has.) I hate to break it to you, but this is the equivilent of trying a 10 year old as an adult. Which if I remember correctly you seemed to be against.

    So the kid was “messy and smelly?” That reminds me of someone….

    Maybe being messy and smelly will keep him from being punked in Prison. Maybe if he goes around telling all of his fellow inmates that he has … i dunno… maybe autism, the other big mean inmates will not pick on him too badly.

    I’m just saying that maybe this kid needs to take a few lessons from you while he is in jail. Be sure that when you *write your love letters to him* that you tell him to fake being autistic. In fact, tell him to always introduce himself to everyone as being autistic. That should be the first words out of his mouth. That really gets peoples’ attention.

    Hmmm I have never done anything ‘bad’. I have never heard myself, haven’t seriously injured others since I was 8 (ever if you don’t count a broken pinky).     Writing to jailed killers, empathizing with their misdeeds makes you bad Bryan. And the fact that you are a closeted homosexual, twisted in the mind, and are soliciting parents to “mentor” their children sounds way too creepy. What on earth could you possibly mentor them about? How to fake autism? I know what you really want to do to those kids. Shame on you.

    I looked up the so-called mental disorder you claim to have. It says someone with your condition can’t make a personal connection that would be a requirement for mentoring, Bryan.

    That list is indeed fake. It shows up on Google because the same list has been circulating for a while. Its Internet Lore, nothing more. Otherwise, point me to a single news article where one of these kids committed suicide from bullying.

    No bedwetters *and* gays. Just gay bedwetters. Its just so funny, its like a clown that is on fire. Bryan can’t really be gay if he is a virgin anyways.

    BelchSpeak, I know I sound like a broken record, but the list is real. Google the name “Jared High”. He was a teenager who killed himself after daily assaults from a group of bullies in a parking lot. Or “Ryan Galligan Patrick”, a 13-year-old boy who killed himself after a pretty girl tricked him into revealing personal secrets on IM and spreading them around school. If you still want to believe that the list is fake after reading, then go ahead. I’m a libertarian – I believe that everyone’s allowed the think and say what they want. But if you ever see the mothers or fathers of these boys, I want you to tell them, to their face, that their sons deaths were lies, that the documented evidences, the eyewitnesses, the IM transcripts, that they were all lies.

    My point isn’t that we should have a fucking nanny-state where authority figures look out for everyone all the time, but I believe that 14-year-olds can be held accountable for their actions, whether it be a murder in the school hallways or a swirly in the school bathroom.

    Endersdragon, I like some of what you have to say, but I can’t say I don’t totally agree with you either. Murderers are murderers, horrible people who commit unjustifable acts against individuals, communities, and families. Cho was a monster, without rhyme or reason. It’s not like he was tortured to the breaking point. People reached out to him, he (figuratively) spat at them, arrogantly thinking he was too good for them. Eric and Dylan weren’t poor little children who had their asses kicked every day – they occupied a comfortable niche in the middle of their schools socail structure. They hung out at their friends houses and cruised the streets with their friends and went on dates. They weren’t picked on anymore than anyone else. John Ogdren and Eric Hainstock may have had hard lives and screwed mental states, but in the end, it was their choice to murder They had normal lives that they chose to throw away for a senseless doctrine of mayhem and murder.

    It’s been fun debating you guys, I hope to get a response soon.

    Telling me to “google” something is not the same as providing a link that shows that someone committed suicide due to bullying. Sorry. I don’t buy this buzzword “bullycide” either.

    Suicidal, depressed people off themselves. To attempt to tie a personal tragedy of suicide to a pet cause such as stopping bullies is irresponsible. And there has been zero proven causative relation of bullying and suicide. How do we know the suicide wasn’t caused by too much sugar on his corn flakes?

    And Bryan posted a long list. You pointed to Jared High. His mom settled out of court with no proof being shown that the suicide was caused by bullying.

    I agree with you on Cho and Eric and Dylan, however I disagree on the count of Hainstock. Simply put how normal can a life where you are starved on a daily basis and not allowed to take a shower. Not so sure about Odgren yet, looking to find out more about that before I deicde.

    Make sure to point to statements like “Victims of bullying experience loneliness and often suffer humiliation, insecurity, loss of self-esteem, and thoughts of suicide. Furthermore, bullying can interfere with a student’s engagement and learning in school. The impact of frequent bullying often accompanies these victims into adulthood.”

    They are accounts of direct witnesses to the actions. How much closer can you get to that when the victim is dead. Should we not believe witnesses of a murder anymore because they are second hand accounts?

    Ummm dumbass, Jaredstory has quotes from both his father who was on the phone with Jared when he shot himself (not exactally a visual witness but still very much a witness.) And it also has quotes from his brother who did attack the bully on at least one occasion after seeing the bully throw his brother up against the wall. So yeah witnesses to the bullying and suicide. In addition to that they were witnesses to his declining mental state over the last months of his life.

    P.S. Since I know you our going to challenge my defination of witness here it is: One who can give a firsthand account of something seen, HEARD, or experienced.

    I don’t know about you guys, but I consider the testimony of Jared’s and Ryan’s neighbors, teachers, principals, and of experts like psychologists and LEO’s to be enough documented and verifiable evidence. Bullying drove these kids to suicide, and I think that their is enough evidence to prove it.

    As for the whole sock-puppet thing, I assure you that Ender and I are not the same person. Not only do we ahve different IP addresses, but I was a regular here long before Ender got here – I just haven’t been active for a while, I’ve been busy
