100 Leads Actively Pursued For Missing Girl; Caylee Just Called, Says Grandmother:

The grandmother of Caylee Marie Anthony, Cindy Anthony, is saying that the missing girl spoke on the phone with her mother, Casey Anthony, last week.

“Casey got a phone call (saying) ‘Hi mommy’ for just a brief second,” Anthony said. “And when Casey said, ‘Put an adult on the phone Caylee,’ the phone went dead.’”

I can’t say for certain but that sounds like second-hand information that was given to the grandmother by Casey Anthony.

    what-ever….. The grandmother must think we are all as stupid as she is to beleive anything that comes out of her daughters mouth…. wake up and smell the coffee lady… you might be fooled by the liar, but the rest of us are noy!

    Every interview that woman (grandmother) does she is very combative. She is definitely protecting her daughter. She said on Greta 7/21/08 that she called the police BEFORE her daughter said Caylee was kidnapped. Why? Why would she call the police if she thought she could trust her daughter? Then she refuses to answer any questions. She threatens to faint from exhaustion when asked a normal question like : Do you believe your daughter dropped Caylee off with a babysitter? There is something really wrong here and I’m sorry to think the little girl is probably no longer with us.

    People seem to think the grandmother believes her daughter. She doesn’t, if she did she would answer all the questions put to her. She would truly want her granddaughter home. She thinks her daughter hid the girl from her so she won’t answer questions. Unfortunately, the daughter knows where Caylee is. I’m afraid it’s another Susan Smith, as someone else put it, it’s all so very sad.

    I just listen to a couple interviews with the Grandmother and I can see where Casey traits come from. I am beginning to think they both had something to do with it. And just sending everyone off track, but it will only last for so long. And she says my purpose now it to focus on finding Caylee, well if Casey knows who and where she is the public would not be excpected to join in a mass search in the first place. The FBI and other authorities are pretty good at tracking people if she would be up front. For God Sake this is her daughter!!!!!! If they happen to find this little girl alive, which I high doubt, they better never allow these two people in her life. They are both twisted people!!!!!!

    I also believe that the grandmother is involved. She is extremely dramatic and almost borders on pathetic. A question I have is why isn’t the dad taking over for the mom, when she is so called “exhausted”. He has just as much interest in finding his granddaughter, yet he remains quiet. Odd. I think grandma is enjoying the attention, and the more involved she becomes, the more she wants to be involved. Mom and daugher are extremely emmeshed in their relationship and I can tell by observing bothf tem that they are in a extremely unhealthy relatonship.Grandmother makes excuses after excuse for her daugher. That’s probably why this is happening right now, the daugher knows mom will come to the rescue. And if this daugher is a liar, as Grandmother has said, and that she eventually gets the truth out of her eventually, we know that the daughter has serious mental issues. the daugher is 22 years old, not 16 or 17. She is an adult, yet the grandparents are treating her like a child.

    If she called…that is a BIG IF Dont they have the phone # that she called from? Could they not find out who’s phone it is and then track them down? Most phones have caller ID these days..Just a thought

    DID CAYLEE CALL….. I DO NOT THINK SO BECAUSE HOW IS SHE GOING TO CALL PRIVATE AND THEN CASEY *69 AND CALL HER BACK ???? ANOTHER LIE PRIVATE NUMBERS CAN NOT BE CALLED BACK WITH *69. I THINK AT THIS POINT CAYLEE WAS KILLED AND BY WAITING SO LONG TO CALL THE POLICE AND THEN LYING TO THEM AND PLEADING THE 5TH IS GIVING HER MORE TIME TO ALLOW THE BODY TO DECOMPOSE MORE AND MORE SO THAT SHE DOES NOT GET CHARGED WITH MURDER BECAUSE I THINK THAT HER PARTYING LIFE BECAME MORE IMPORTANT TO HER. AS FAR AS CINDY SHE MAKES HER SELF LOOK DUMB AND DUMBER EVERYTIME SHE OPENS HER MOUTH.

    Can anyone say NUTS! these people are crazy.I say cut mom off from ALL comunication she is thriving on it. I say denie her the ability to play puppet master on the phone and maybe she’ll talk to police..

    Lets see…Casey is an obvious nutjob with a very pretentious attitudeeven in jail),the child is missing,the babysitter does not exist,Casey borrowed a shovel,she stole 2 cans of gas,cadaver dogs hit on the trunk and the yard…oh,i dunno lets waste a few more hundred grand coddling the murdering bitch and her obviously enabling mother Cindy. Speaking of ol’ Cindy,hasn’t she changed her tune.She went from “smells like a dead body in the damn car” to”lying does not make you a murderer……She knows.Myabe she did not know at first but she knows now. Thing is instead of playing games with this club skank,they should take off the gloves and end this charade asap.It isn’t even thatn she is a particularly good liar,she isn’t.Just watch her speak,if you listen to her speak and look at the pictures of her partying you can peg her as a coke whore with a sense of entitlement who was too stupid to use birth control,too loose to control herself and now too immature to be inconvienienced with a kid or too stupid to take care of it. It should piss everyone off that our tax dollars are gonna pay for this skank to live 50 years in jail doing guards for favors and lezzing it up.

    I just do not for the life of me understand HOW a mother can show such little emotion while her child is out there missing? And for these people, Cindy, George, Lee, Casey, Baez, to expect that people would believe her lies is just absolute lunacy. I have 4 kids, 9,8,5 and 2. If any one of them went missing, you better believe I would go to the ends of the earth to find them. I just don’t get it at all.

    Wow, there are sure a lot of crazy “theories” posted here. It’s one thing to theorize based on real evidence, but it’s another to speculate on a hundred different unknowns – why and where this mother may have killed her child, what is wrong with the family, etc.As outsiders in this investigation, we can see odd (and chilling) behavior on the part of the mother, and possibly unsavory behavior on the part of the rest of the family. We know a child is missing, and there is a strong possibility that a dead body was at some point in the trunk of the mother’s car.We can make an educated guess about whether Caylee is still alive, based on what we see and hundreds of similar cases in the past. The poor child is probably dead, and investigators will probably piece together the truth, or someone will crack and confess.That’s about all – we can’t know what drugs Casey might have used, or what led up to this child’s disappearance, or who is telling what lies and why, until more evidence comes to light. The investigators inevitably hold back a great deal of evidence and testimony until they have built their case. We don’t have a fraction of the information they do, so let’s stop the wild theorizing, let the police do their work, and hope for the best for this child.

    Well me personally I think casey is lying and knows where her daughter is, and so does her parents and her lawyer. Why would a lawyer go on air and say the stuff he said about her not talking unless she know something. I mean think about it. Also I think casey at this point think that this have went to far and wanna say something about it to the police, but the lawyer and mom want let her, I trully think it is killing this girl inside, but she don’t wanna say nothing because they are scared that she is going to jail for life.And the last thing why in the world have the cops not pushed the security guard that wanted a deal about what she know, that to me says this lady knows something, someone have told her, and it is so bad that she feel like she might get into trouble for it, if she comes out and say anything without some kind of deal from the cops.
