Crash kills one after idiots play Gran Turismo in car
Driver caused fatal crash after using PlayStation in car:
Two geniuses from the U.K., Christopher Hayden, 19, and James Budden, 28, crashed their car and killed a 79-year-old woman while trying to pass another car. The hook? They were playing Gran Turismo in a parking lot prior to the crash. Not on a PSP but a full blown Playstation that had a monitor that rose out of the console. You may just have a videogame addiction if you have a home console in your car. Now I don’t think games like GTA can cause people to kill someone however I’ve fallen victim myself to Gran Turismo syndrome. When the first Gran Turismo came out I would play these marathon sessions for hours upon hours. When I would go to work the morning after I found myself taking sharp turns at excessive speeds. Am I saying that racing games should be banned? Hell no. However, unless it’s for your kids in the backseat you should not have a Playstation installed in your dashboard. None of that changes the fact that the driver is an assclown and should thank God that he wasn’t sent to jail. Or as the article mentioned they’re “bloody chavs”.
