So what’s that tool’s name who called President Obama a liar during his speech? Oh yeah, Joe Wilson.
I don’t know why everyone is so shocked. This isn’t a right or left thing either. Like I said there’s no polite political discourse in this country anymore. I’m actually surprised it took this long.
It’s only a matter of time before congress turns into those parliament sessions froom Eastern Asia where fights break out. Here’s one from South Korea.

Don’t be surprised if we’re not living in a Mad Max type of world within 10 or 20 years. Not because of peak oil or global warming. It will be because we’re just going to degenerate into a bunch of savages.
And for no good reason here is Liar by Megadeth…

You’re all a bunch of asshats.
Look, I’m as conservative as they come but have some respect for the office of the President of the United States. You’re acting the same as the Bush = Hitler people.
Let your kids see the speech and if you don’t like what he said discuss it with your kids. Stopping them from seeing it is just going to make them want to see it more.

In the wake of Ted Kennedy’s death it seems that a type of debate has broken out. Basically it comes down to why is Kennedy vilified for Chappaquiddick but former first lady Laura Bush isn’t for the death of Michael Dutton Douglas. Personally I think the differences are obvious.
Kennedy had already been a senator for 7 years. Laura Bush was still in high school.
Laura Bush was found by police to not be under the influence of alcohol. Kennedy claimed that he had not been drinking. Given the Kennedys’ proclivity for partying I seriously doubt that.
Kennedy was married to Joan Kennedy at the time.
Laura Bush didn’t flee the scene.
Kennedy never reported the incident to police.
And Laura Bush at the time didn’t wield any kind of power that could have influenced a police investigation.
And for those of you who think Ted Kennedy’s record should overshadow his ‘indiscretions’ all I have to say is OJ is in the Hall of Fame but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get away with murder.

I love referring to myself in the third person.
Anyway, I heard President Obama, or one of his representatives say that Medicare is proof that the government knows about healthcare. That obviously came from some one who never had to deal with Medicare. I mean it’s a plan that doesn’t cover routine physicals. You would think the government would rather pay for preventative care than an illness down the road. Medicare is the ultimate definition of a government bureaucracy. I should know, I’ve worked in the healthcare industry for 21 years.
However I have to take the town hall protesters to task. You people scare me. Nothing was ever solved through hysterics. And you may want to turn off whatever talking head you’ve been listening to because a lot of you are beginning to sound the same.
Now look, I’m no fan of President Obama’s proposed healthcare plan but it’s because of my experience that I formed that opinion. Not from what some suit is telling me in order to gain ratings.
The town hall protesters remind me a lot of the ‘No Blood For Oil’ protesters from 2003. Just as uninformed of the real issues.

Palin stepping down this month:
I was a big fan of Sarah Palin during the election. Now not so much. She lost points with me during the Letterman debacle. I mean if she can’t tell who that joke was obviously aimed at then she needs to get a clue.
If the Republican party has any hopes of winning in 2012 they need to find another Reagan.
