Court to hear appeal in Mass. school killings plot: Just when I thought the ghosts of Marshfield were laid to rest forever they decide to rear their heads once again. For those of you who missed the story 6 years ago let me try and recap it quickly as possible. Then 16-year-old Tobin Kerns was [...]

Ok, I’ll admit it. I totally screwed the pooch in my last entry about the trial of Tobin Kerns. I was under the assumption that Daniel Farley and Joseph Sullivan were given immunity in both the trials of Tobin Kerns and Joe Nee. That is not the case. An astute commenter pointed me in the [...]

Yesterday I talked about how the Tobin Kerns trial was delayed because two of the witnesses for the prosecution requested full immunity for their testimony. I have confirmed that the two witnesses are known associates of Joe Nee who a lot of people in the Marshfield community think should be on trial along with Nee. [...]

I still don’t see how Joe Nee can be considered a reliable informant when he was arrested for the exact same crime that Tobin Kerns was. I still say it reeks of preferential [...]

Back in August I told you that the attorney for Tobin Kerns, William McElligott, was trying to get the search warrant of Kerns’ house supressed because the police informants were not reliable. One of those informants, Joe Nee, was also arrested for the same plot. If you remember Kerns was arrested in conjunction with a [...]

Kerns, Nee trials won’t start until fall: This just basically an article about the Marshfield incident that say that neither Toby Kerns or Joe Nee will be going to trial until the fall. What was interesting about this article was this… Kerns was in Plymouth Juvenile Court last week where his attorney William McElligott [...]

The mail has been piling up here and I’ve been putting it off for so long I’m now two weeks behind on it. I’m in the middle of posting my replies but it’s probably going to take me all week to finish up. However I got a comment today that I felt required my immediate [...]

Scituate officer acquitted of exposing himself: This is a follow up about Officer Dick Johnson (I couldn’t make that up folks) who was accused of whipping it out and cranking the weasel in front of woman who needed police to help her find her son. Well, he got off (pun fully intended). The reason this [...]
