I’ve said before I don’t do this for the recognition. Every time I get some kind of national recognition it’s usually bad. I don’t do this to become a Higher Being on The Ecosystem. I’m very happy being a Flappy Bird. I do this mostly to get a message out. A message to parents to be mindful of their children’s’ activities, on line and in the real world. How many stories have we seen from Columbine to present day where the parents had absolutely no clue what was going on in their own house? That’s why I switched the site from the black background to the beige background to make it more appealing to parents. Some days I feel like banging my head against the wall after reading story after story where it seems like parents were oblivious to their kids’ activities. But then every once in a while I get an e-mail like this…

I discovered your site after the recent murder of the parents by the 18 yo in PA. I read their online blogs, which I then followed their links to other online blogs and discovered a very frightening world used by todays youth. My only thought is the same i have read several times in your writings…where are their parents? As a parent of young children this has left me feeling a range of mixed emotions from extreme saddness, to anger, to disgust, to utter hopelessness. I have always known these things existed but to read personal diaries and blogs from first hand perspectives of todays youth really brought it front and center for me. I have read things about drug use, girls with eating disorders, sex….you name it. And not only the words….but the images!!! These kids actually have their pics up!!! I would never keep a diary growing up because I KNEW my mom would find it….not “IF”. I am just thankful to have found this now….my kids computer use is still limited to the Jumpstart games thank God! But not knowing is no excuse for parents. This is their JOB as PARENTS!!

I gave up my career to be a full time mom to my kids and after reading this I feel insanely guilty by gambling with their lives everyday that I send them off to school…..to SCHOOL for crying out loud!! It is not supposed to be this way.

Anyway, my main reason for writing this is to APPLAUD you for what you are doing. People need to be informed and as painful as reading these stories are they need to be read and burned into EVERY parents brain….they certainly are mine.

first of all there a are some parents that know what the word RESPECT means. i personally am glad that the parents didnt search their childs room cause other wise they might be shot first and the shooting may or may not have been prevented.

RESPECT works both ways Robert. It’s obvious that Harris and Klebold didn’t RESPECT their parents or else they wouldn’t have kept their weapons in one of their parents’ houses. ANd obviously they didn’t RESPECT life enough not to kill 13 people. Whether or not the shooting would have been prevented we’ll never know because their parents didn’t lift a damn finger to do anything.

Those kids took years of abuse and harassment and shoved it into those kids and those teacher’s faces. I agree with Samantha I love them also on April 20th,1999 they broke a brand new ground for the world. I am in 8th grade now and I am home schooled now I was fucked with a whole lot in school. I was kicked pushed you name it they did it. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold put ther lives on the line. For all of us who have been teased and beat up on to show the world you can not do this anymore and if you look on the news they talk more about school kids getting beat up for no reason. I am sorry they had to shoot up there school I am sorry they had to kill themselfs but they did it for kids next to come behide them like me. I will be in 9th grade next year if they had not done what they did we would still have lots more shit. My mom saw there was a problem with me in school that I could not handle it any longer so she took me out and started to hiome school me. Killing yourself doesn’t take guts. It’s the coward’s way out. These boys were too chicken to face what they did because they knew they’d rot in prison, so they killed themselves. They are the ones to blame for what they did. They knew what they were doing and knew the consequences for their actions and they alone were to blame. It’s a shame that so many kids had to lose their lives just because these boys were so messed up.

They took up guns they shot and killed people who had nothing to do with them at random. Yeah they were harassed for being different. So were a lot of other people through the course of time. Obvious spelling errors aside let me tell you something Miss Farmer. I and many of my readers were harassed and tortured in school. BUT WE DIDN’T SHOOT UP A SCHOOL. I’m sorry you had such a rough time of it in school but again it’s no reason to kill 13 people. Those two little mutants were not heroes. They were cowards for hiding behind a gun. And let me just say to all the kids in school right now who are thinking about some kind of school violence. It’s not worth it. High school is just a blip on the timeline of your existence. Once you graduate you’ll never have to deal with those people ever again. I hated high school. But once I got out I got over it. And I haven’t seen anyone from there in over 10 years.

By all definitions they raped these kids. I guess since they were the star athletes that it’s ok. If you really are a teacher at Mepham you should hand in your resignation. How dare you call a young man who you’ve never met as a ‘meathead’ and ‘buckethead’? First off if you did any research on this site you’d know that my use of the name TheTrenchcoat predates anything that has a negative connotation dealing with that name. Give the boy some sympathy? Please. The only ones who deserve sympathy were the victims but they didn’t get any from the football team. All they got afterwards were threats. I’m not saying that your friend was involved in the rape of those three kids. But did he do anything to try and stop it? His sympathy is misplaced. And yes I read articles and comment about them on my website, so do about a million other bloggers. And you have the nerve to question my vocabulary when you use the word “incouraged”? I would love to know how you feel about the 3 assclowns that perpetrated this crime. You probably think that they were just boys being boys and shouldn’t have had their precious football season taken away.

If the parents had just kept a better eye on their mutant children this tragedy would have been averted and the innocent people that they directly and indirectly killed would still be alive today. If those two little cowardly shits touched you deep inside then you have no fucking soul whatsoever. You know what went through their minds on the 20th? Hot lead. They didn’t leave this world in victory. They left it as two sniveling little cowards hiding behind guns because they didn’t have the balls to do anything else.

See the mentality of the mutants I have to deal with. How many times do I have to explain this? Yes the school could have prevented what happened. But it would have been much easier if their parents had just looked in the garage. They had an arsenal in their house, the school didn’t. Yeah the jocks may have been harassing them. But if it wasn’t that it would have been something else that set them off. It all comes down to the fact that they were two mentally deranged little fucks who their parents didn’t care enough to check up on them. In summation, get some help you sick fucking bitch. I will aim for the heads and the propane bomb that I have made will go off when it is supposed to. Now this one I can comment on. I’ll tell you what’s wrong with their parents. They weren’t doing their job and because of it 13 people are dead. I don’t give a rat’s ass that they lost their kids.
