Trying something new which may disenfranchise most of my readers. I'm calling it True Crime Poetry. This is my first attempt at it...
"Morbid Curiosity"
They found her body in a construction yard
Buried with little or next to no regard
Just a teenage girl
Taken from this world
All for morbid curiosity
She was lured there by trusted confidants
That's why they took her to familiar haunts
A bolt of lead
Passed through her head
All for morbid curiosity
The boys then fled unto the ice and snow
The land where killers claim sanctuary go
However they were caught
One's return was fought
All for morbid curiosity
The anecdote has yet to find an end
The triggerman has tried to blame his friend
A coward's game
Not to take the blame
All for morbid curiosity
