Four Dakota County students charged in school threats:

HASTINGS, Minn. - Four students have been charged in connection with separate incidents of threats of school violence in Dakota County.

The students are charged with felony terroristic threats and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Three of them attend school in the Lakeville School District, and the fourth attends a school in the West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan district.

Officials say it doesn't appear that the students intended to carry out their threats, but officials are taking the threats seriously in light of tragedies like the one in Red Lake.

I'm surprised this is all we heard about today.
