Tony Allen of the Anti-MOVE/Mumia Blog sent me the following e-mail. I thought it best to present it in Tony’s own words.
Greetings,
If you are receiving this email than you know the story of the “MOVE 9″. How they murdered Officer James Ramp and wounded several other officers and firefighters.
You should also know that they are key members of the MOVE cult and that preliminary parole proceedings are starting soon for the eight surviving cop-killers.
From this writers perspective the most important thing that we can do with regards to MOVE in the following year is do our part to ensure that these un-repentant killers stay in prison.
Over the coming weeks and months I will be writing more about the “MOVE 9″ and why I hold this issue to be so important to me. As a former adherent of MOVE, I can attest to the danger of these people being allowed back out on the street.
To start things off with, I have started a petition for people to sign that will be sent to the parole board demanding that the MOVE members not be allowed parole.
I ask everyone in receipt of this email to do what you can to get this petition to as many people as possible.
Please feel free to write back with any questions

Tony is no armchair analyst either. He actually spent years within the MOVE organization so he knows of which he speaks.
Growing up in the Philly area in the 70’s and 80’s I remember all about MOVE. They were nothing short of terrorists then and nothing short of a cult now.

I never heard of these guys
I’ve never heard of them either. And after reading through the links and stuff…I STILL have no clue exactly what they are about.

So they are basically Amish with a SEVERE case of the stupids and a violent streak
I remember Philly burning because of the MOVE group. I was too young to understand everything that was going on, but my perceptions were that they were militant, black, and didn’t want to pay the rent.
That sounds alot like Durham, NC :-O
