Threats at Winslow Township school
February 24, 2007Winslow boy charged in new threats case:
A 14-year-old student from Winslow Township Middle School in South Jersey was arrested for a series of threats that were found around the school. There may be others involved as well. If Winslow Township sounds familiar it should. A school shooting plot was uncovered at the high school last April.
“Additional arrests are possible,” said acting Camden County Prosecutor Joshua Ottenberg. He said an investigation continues into the menacing notes, which named at least two students and were found in several locations in the school earlier this month.
The youth arrested Friday is charged with making terrorist threats and false public alarm. Authorities said he was involved in the “presentation or display” of multiple notes.
I guess four students from Winslow Township High being arrested last year didn’t teach this kid a lesson.
