Microsoft NZ angers cops in crime fight:
First off I have to thank Alyric for sending me this link. He will be taking some time of from Player 1. Hurry back buddy. Anyway this article is about Microsoft giving New Zealand police a hard time when the police asked Microsoft for some information regarding a theft investigation. But I’m not interested in that part. I’m more interested in the crime itself.

A 15-year-old kid had stolen an X-Box 360 from a private residence. But he forgot to take the power cord. So rather than shelling out the money for a new power cord what does the criminal genius do? He calls Microsoft asking for another power cord using the stolen X-Box’s serial number saying his dog chewed through it. The actual owner had already reported it stolen with the serial number to Microsoft.

The kid has been arrested on 18 counts of burglary.

He also has the esteemed honor of being the first person at Player 1 to be bestowed an honor previously only given to people stupid enough to post their crimes on MySpace.

For criminal stupidity above and beyond the call of duty you have been officially awarded with the Red Forman Dumbass Award.

Red’s foot would chew through your ass.
