School District Takes Precautions After Threat:
An Ohio 13-year-old was taken into custody after he made a threat against his school. The unnamed teen told a California teen over Xbox 360 Live that he was going to bring a 9mm to school. The California teen told his father who in turn told the FBI. When the teen was taken into custody police searched the home and seized a firearm that wasn’t a 9mm and the Xbox 360. No word on what game he was playing over Xbox Live. However it needs to be said as always that I’m sure the game did not make him threaten to school. Violent kids may be drawn to videogames but the games themselves do not make them violent.
