A few weeks ago I posted about a friend of my family’s that was killed in a hit and run and that a police had a suspect. About 10 days ago the suspect turned himself in. I thought about raking him over the coals on one of my site but I decided against it. I found the suspect’s MySpace and showed it to my wife. She said he seems like someone that Karen would hang out with and that changed my mind. I’m just glad that justice is being done for Karen.

I don’t get it. You have no problem talking about people that have to do with tragedies in families you don’t know. But now that it’s closer to home, you just can’t do it. How do you not see the connection in this? How do you not see how sites like these hurt the people who are involved?
I write this knowing none of it will get through to you, or anyone else who owns a site like this.
