Schools in lockdown:

Two Las Vegas Schools are in lockdown after a report of an armed student…

Mohave High and Elizonda Elementary schools are in lock down as school police search for a student who may be carrying a weapon.

The lock down went into effect after 7 a.m. when school police say they saw they observed a student who may be armed. The student is not on school property. North Las Vegas police are searching a nearby neighborhood and apartment complex near Commerce and Lone Mountain. The schools are locked down as a precaution.
