Police: ‘Columbine’ messenger still at large:
I originally posted about the threat made to Northville High School in Michigan here. It seems that the threat’s author has not been apprehended yet..

The pencil-drawn message - ‘Columbine can happen’ - is long gone.

But Northville Township police still don’t know if the author of that message, discovered March 29, on the wall of a Northville High School lower-level boys’ bathroom wall, has vanished as well.

Sgt. Matt Mayes of the Northville Township Police Department said police still don’t know who wrote the message.

“There are no current suspects,” Mayes said. “There were many interviews and follow-up of potential suspects, but there have been no further suspects developed or further leads at this time.”

Police departments from Dearborn, Ann Arbor, Macomb County and Washetnaw County along with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms assisted Northville Township police in searching the 400,000- square foot school.

The investigation cost the police department $4,500.

Previously, Northville Township Police Chief John Werth said, if caught, the police department would seek financial restitution from anyone involved.

That’s some good work there boys. Clancy would be proud.

  1. Pretty critical of the Northville Township Police are we??!! Hard to figure out a suspect from writting on a bathroom wall!!!

  2. I’ve seen police departments make arrests with less in these kind of cases.
