Town hall meeting scheduled on Gulf Shore rumors

A town meeting has been scheduled for 6PM CST tonight in Alabama to dispel the rumors surrounding the alleged Gulf Shores High plot. If it’s anything like the comments I’ve been receiving there are tons of rumors floating around.
One such rumor…
One erroneous rumor circulating Wednesday was that Meredith had slipped away from the Orange Beach home where he is confined, Newcomb said. As a result of such gossip, police have told Newcomb that parents are threatening to remove their children from local schools.
Once I have more information I will let you know.

yeah, well we have all kinds of rumors going around school, haha, ray used his magic to get out of juvy and is gonna make us all disappear…. whatever.
These kids are innocent. Now their childhoods are ruined. One under house arrest and going to have to deal with the snails pace of the adult judicial system. The other is sleeping on a concrete slab with a 1? foam mattress. Locked up. 15. Away from his family. There is NO evidence. What is this stupid shit about taking evacuation plans? These are GIVEN to EVERY STUDENT at the begining of school in the handbook. DUH? And I think the kids know which door they entered that morning to find their way out….I know these kids. They are smart, funny, kind, generous. Not an evil bone exists. Joe writes screenplays for movies. Horror movies. Hate to see what they would have done with M. Knight Shamalyn’s computer. Yes,he has an imagination. He has been creating movies since he was 8. The 15 yr old is a magician. And a good one. He wants to be a Lawyer one day. Boy, does he have experience with the unjust legal system to draw from. These are kids with long range plans. Not the Dylan and Eric with NO plans for the future.
They wouldn’t sacrafice their future, nor would they hurt a living soul.
And honestly, did Dylan and Eric ever go to school and say, ‘We are going to shoot you all’?
its sick that anyone would stand up for these murderers… i find it amuzing how all these kids are using the fact that they’re goth to say they are being discriminated against. you guys who think you know them so well obviously dont. i think you should consider the fact that if they were innocent then they probably wouldnt be locked up. trust the law. these boys obviously need to get to know god a little better.
you cannot call them murderers when they haven’t killed anyone.
And you can’t talk about them being ‘goth’ they aren’t. And yes, you can be locked up in this great country of ours with NO EVIDENCE against you. It’s called ‘conspiracy’ that means we think you did something, but have no proof, so we’re going to put you away til we can figure it out. The 15 yr old has been sleeping on a concrete slab in a cell and he has done NOTHING. It can happen to you, beware your topic of conversation in public.
